Listening to a salesman in the office walking round and ROUND in circles while he's shouting down his phone. Trying to drown him out with a bit of Dieselboy though.

****, that's some awesome heavy instrumental guitar!
Were did you get that from matey? I've got Electric Tears but haven't been able to find anything else as yet.

Currently listening to Rush's Snakes & Arrows, which I've only just gotten around to picking up. Much better than I was expecting it to be; despite Far Cry being a great single, I didn't have high hopes for the rest of the album. Always happy to be wrong though.

Today, the Cure's self titled album. Heard it once and about to play it again.

haven't listened to it in years and it still sounds as great as when it was first released. bit of a shame they musically went down the pan almost immediately after though.

I remember going to see the Lo Fi Allstars down the Joiners in Saaarfhaaampton way back when. I was off my face, was dancing on top of tables and going mental. It was a great night which ended up with me nailing this gorgeous chinese girl with enormo-chebs.

hah! that's the kind of memories you want to associate with music - not some grumbling emo nonsense about losing your girlfriend/boyfriend/rock/tree or whatever you were 'into' at the time.

this album will aways make me think of seeing them at King Tut's years ago, where a dude from the support band bounded onto the stage naked, except for an open-faced crash helmet which was on fire. the very definition of 'amazing scenes'.

*edit: to add substance to this post i'm listening to the classically emo-metal 'hybrid theory' by linkin park.
