Unicron is ruled out of being the bad guy in any TF film any time soon

Was somewhat looking forward to this until I saw a trailer the other days with the robots all dancing.....pack it in. It was bent
I'm glad Linking Park have been replace unfortunately they have been replaced with a worse band.
I wish someone would have the balls to say to Michael Bay, 'Please direct my film, you are awesome at it. But if you think you can have any creative control, do one'.

I'd start again from scratch. There's no saving the current Transformer movies. A good start would be having some screen time and dialogue between the Transformers so we get to know them as characters - rather than being forced to endure increasingly annoying collections of humans I know nothing and care even less about. The Transformers should be the stars.

Look at the original cartoons & movie for example we had some interaction with humans but the TF's were the star of the show & rightly so
The movies should be the same.
They shouldn't be movies about humans that just happen to feature shape changing robots.
It should be about shape changing robots it just so happens that there a few humans in it too.
I also really shouldn't struggle to tell the difference between them all when it does start going bonkers.
I have already said that I won't see 4 & I'm even less likely to see 5.
I would really love to see someone who cares about the subject matter tackle this.
I still fear for his Turtles movie but I am willing to give that a chance.

I totally agree with Neil. I saw the new Transformers movie yesterday and I thought it was terrible. I like the Transformers themselves but the stories and focus on human characters doesn't make are really boring. The fact that they introduce new Autobots and Decepticons every movie doesn't give me any incentive to care about them as characters, not that any of them are focused upon in any case.
I hope they fix these major mistakes for the fifth movie. I'll probably see it but I'm not expecting a good movie, unless the idea is to make a terrible movie, that's long and convoluted plus has many logical flaws just to make the second movie to be slightly better to make it a masterpiece in comparison.
Bay is not a good director, except for some scenes, and the people who write the scripts for these are terrible.

Dear god, prepare yourselves.
So, despite reviews, this franchise is huge right? Well, as Paramount is one of the few studios without one a big picture serial...
The studio is setting up plans to create a multi-part sequel. Now, as this entry is being turned around quickly, the news would presumably be based on plans for Transformers 6 and 7. In addition they are planning multiple spin-offs within the TF universe.
Can anyone else sense the coming term Transformers Cinematic Universe coming our way?
