Watched this trailer last night & I was literally grinning like an idiot the whole time
cannot wait to see this

Currently on a bit of a Star Wars marathon, finished Clone Wars at last & the first 2 seasons of Bad Batch
Currently working through season 2 of Rebels in preparation to finally watch Ahsoka

Really, really enjoying Rebels
When I first saw an episode on TV when it was airing I instinctively wrote it off as being aimed at kids, I was very wrong
Think it's brilliant

Funny that the best Star Wars has ever been is in animated form

I can't wait for this. "Frozen meets Kill Bill" as described by former long time personal assistant to harvey weinstein director Leslye Headland, with other 3 fantastic directors of the incredible pedigree of Picard s1/2, STD(urgh),Cowboy bebop, Witcher. And majority written by Leslye too!!! this has EPIC all over it.

The first two were decent enough, but I don't tend to judge a series until seeing the whole thing. Hopefully watching ep 3 tonight.

wow this show, it really takes something to be worse that Obi and Fett. Terrible story, terrible world building, bad writing to the point i feel sorry for the actors speaking the dialogue, there is no sense of time or distance, even the hyped up fights are bad.

Acolyte seems... Okay.

I've seen all the **** online about the racial makeup of the cast, or the slightly weird way the lightsabers look to reduce costs, etc. but that's all largely bluster, so I'll put that to one side.

So far, the show's only real crime for me is that I find it a bit draggy, a bit, well, boring? It almost feels like a movie plot that has been stretched to 8 hours.

It's a shame as I thought...

... that actually the sisters would be 'in on it' together, and would be deceiving the Jedi until the moment they have their absolute trust, then would turn on them to get their revenge.

The flashback episode makes that impossible. It opens up something the prequels touched on, namely...

... that the Jedi straight-up kidnap kids, and are seen by some as like some kind of nightmarish inquisition

... but I don't know if that's really fresh enough ground. Finally...

... really hope the kids weren't conceived via the force, in a way to try and explain Anakin's origin. Some things can be left a mystery.
