I fully understand the negativity toward it, but for me? I’m in.
Watched it recently and thought it was decent as a movie, did what it needed too while being its own thing and a stack of nostalgia thrown in.

We've got news that'll surely make Ghostbusters fans in Japan feel good, as next year's sequel, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, will premiere within the country alongside the United States release, slated for Easter weekend, March 29th, 2024.

The film will have a simultaneous worldwide premiere this time

That's great. I'm sure I had the Canadian Blueray version of the previous movie before it even hit the cinema over here.

I think the alternative one is better. The ghost on the 1st poster looks too cartoony.

Will the new film be glancing back like Afterlife?

No, the aim seems to be to move the franchise forward with the director confirming that Ghostbusters: Afterlife was used to close the book on the Gozer era and that the new film will set up the circumstances that will lead to future stories.

Bill should reprise his role as Ebenezer Scroodge. He now looks the part to play as the traditional old man Ebenezer

They could have done with moving it all the way up to late Feb, give it some distance from GodzillaxKong

Isn't that already out? Or is that a different Godzilla movie? I saw one listed at the Toho Cinema as I was looking for showings of the Pet Shop Boys live Dreamworld concert showing.

It's the next of the US films, carries a very similar name to the last one though

Ah, I see. Right now McDonald's Japan are doing Godzilla burgers.
