Looked at some images of that Kamichu, very nice art style. Will be downloading that.

Lucky Star 19 - Tamura-san is excellent, her over the top reactions to little and large (forgot their names) had me in stitches.

Nanaha StrikerS ep16/17 - WoW, we got all out war between the Combat Cyborgs and the Mages, which contained 2 of my new fav freak out power ups. I can't get enough of it when one a character gets pushed to far, they go nuts(like Naruto 1st Kyuubi moment). Plenty of fighting, large explosions and people getting there ass kicked.

I totally marked out when Subaru saw the aftermath of Ginga beaten to pulp, blooded up by 3 cyborgs and being stuffed into a box. Then totally freaks out and punches the crap of them before that cheating Deeper driver rescues them. And to top it all off they gave us a second freak out inthe same episode with Caro unleashing her mega Summon.... holy **** batman!!! And i think Fate and Nanoha are really gonna be pissed vivo got taken and section destroyed. And Ginga/Subaru = Cyborgs didn't see that coming

I really need to watch the 1st 2 season's if there as fun as this.

Toward the Terra ep18/19 - Bit of a turn around, the new characters have pretty much made me start cheering for Keith Anyan , Jomy seems to have turned into a total dick along with his new friends (he's pretty much become what he hates).

To much to watch ><; School Days, hayate ep20, Gurren ep20, Dennou Coil ep10, Grayman 43, Love Complex 18, Bokurano 12/13, Sky Girl 4/5, and ICE ep2

Whilst I've not been keeping up with StrikerS properly (another series I should be catching up on). I'd say you could possibly skip the first season as it's more magical girl-y. Nanoha A's has more action and generally seems to be the one that gets people into the series proper. I suppose they're not bad ways to waste an afternoon (they are only 13 eps each IIRC). StirkerS is definitely closer to A's for me though. The first season is mainly about Fate and Nanoha. The second introduces Hayate and the gang. Worth checking out for some background to the characters I suppose. I'm rambling now... I'd say check out A's for sure perhaps skip some of the first few episodes in the first season though, it gets better towards the end.

watched the first two episodes of mononoke last night.... not entirely sure i liked it, but i just couldnt stop it. thought it would be a bit more like mushishi from the very little i heard aboout it. i cant decide if i really want to see more of it or not, its just too freaky.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei ep5 - had me laughing all the way through, has the right amount of smut and crazyness. Still my fav nutcase is the stalker followed up by txt girl.

HAVE YOU GIRLS NO SHAME! and then holds his own nipples

Finished off tokimeki memorial. Not a bad ending, so I suppose the show finished on a decent note. There were some decent bits in it but the last half of the show was unbelievably frustrating.

It seemed fairly obvious who he was going to end up with during the early stages. Glad that Tsukasa didn't win as she annoyed me the most out of the three choices. Way too clingy and selfish for my liking. It seemed as if she didn't give a **** about what he thought or wanted at times. Never really struck me that he was that interested in her, just he was too spineless to turn her down or tell her to **** off. The only thing she had going for her was she was fairly upfront with her feelings, which was nice change from the frustrating stuff from Sayuri which bogged down the last half of the show. Still not enough to make me like Tsukasa though. Mina was nice enough mix of them both I guess, still she seemed the least likely to me. I suppose the final pairing made sense, in that Sayuri didn't have to pretend to be this school idol around Aoba. Struck me as similar to Kare Kano in that respect, only (obviously) nowhere near as good as that show. Aoba... didn't like him much... one of the crappier leads from these types of shows that I can remember.

Probably only something I'd recommend to fans of the genre and even then it's not a particularly good example of it.

Just received my Samurai 7 complete series boxed set, which is terrific btw and it has a few trailers on it, 2 of them interest me

one is called Burst Angel and the other is Gunslinger Girl

                Are they any good?

Burst Angel is... hmm a bit wacky, the plot just stops making any sense towards the end and the Robots CGI has a horrible frame-rate, but i like the actually characters and there art. I'm sure if do a search on this thread for Bakuretsu Tenshi you'll find what we said about it, including the recent OVA.

Gunslinger girl - loli's with cyborg enhancements (depending on the there state when the researchers found them) which kill people for the italian police, story doesn't really go anywhere at the end but its' good watch while it lasts and you'll feel sorry for a couple of the girls when there backstories are played out. Also has a great opening.

Which reminds me... there's another season of Gunslinger Girl coming I believe. Another show I should get round to watching. Still I've been getting through my backlog recently and it's looking much better than it was previously.

I bear a severe grudge for Burst Angel because of it's ridiculously stupid ending. It was doing so well up to that point....

Gunslinger is an anime with a great premise and setup but the execution is not quite there. I did enjoy it but it had potentiaal...hopefully to be realised in the second series. Its only 13eps so give it a go.

Can I get a bit of advice? My anime watching has dropped right off and Deathnote was the first one I watched for a while (though my review would read a little like the one for Gunslinger above). Basically, I found after Full Metal Alchemist, everything to feel quite empty and not engaging enough. I LOVE FMA, any recent recommendations?

I tried Gunslinger Girl ages back and thought it looked nice but wasn't particularly interesting on a story level.

Right now I'd recommend everyone watch Claymore as priority number one, as it really is a thoroughly fantastic show with a brilliant, relentlessly surprising storyline and great action sequences. Also Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is great if you like completely messed up Japanese comedy. I love it.

If it' anime thats abit special your looking for i would also say Claymore, sayonara sensei, and add Gurren Lagann, Dennou Coil, Seirei no Moribito, 5cm per second and throw in Lucky Star and Overdrive for the comedy front.

everything else im watching is personal taste(Nanoha Strikers, Seto no Hanayome, Doujin Work, sky girls, Lovely Complex) or showed promise but went off the boil a bit, but still watching to see how it ends(Heroic Age, Gigantic Formula) or long running (One Piece, Bleach, Naruto2)

Another vote for Lovely Complex. It's a charming show with some nice characters and wacky Osaka-ben accents.

And that's just mentioning stuff from this year. There was some quality stuff from last year too IMO.

                                Gurren Lagann ep 21 -

Bit of a look at what Yoko's been up to for most of the episode. Even so it went past in a flash and had it's moments. Like her deadly aim with the chalks and then her kicking the **** out of those Gunmen

Highlight of the episode for me though was easily the Simon-Viral piloted Gurren Lagann and the EPIC gattai sequence they put in. I'd been wishing for it for a while and the hints were there recently. Great to see it becoming a reality though and hints at more epicness to come . Next episode is set to be an absolute cracker. I suppose it was also nice to see Rossiu getting ****ed over for a bit, just wish Simon and co had delayed their entrance a little bit longer just to rub it in.

Great setup episode for 22 which is looking to be another epic episode. Roll on next week!
