Well I managed to get some downloading done round my parents and I finally caught up a little bit.

Toward the Terra - Man I really need to find the intro music (Jet Boy, Jet Girl), gives me goosebumps. I really like it when characters go berserk and Tony's was quite good, taking out several fleets

Claymore - Not sure if I like how they've changed it, what I would have done is keep it the same as in the manga and then when it gets to the point where the claymores are in hiding- put in some filler episodes and then continue from the manga. The only problem I see with that is the manga isnt updated very often :/

I've also finally started to watch The Melancholly of Suzumiya Haruhi....is it me or in the fourth episode do they add in some completely random stuff and character, like what the hell are they talking about with Haruhi's mood causing demensional rips etc O_o Still funny, I just thought I might have missed an entire epside.

Without wanting to spoil it too much I'd just say pay close attention to the next ep previews in Haruhi. Particularly what they argue about in the end. Things should become clear as you progress.

Lucky Star ep 20 out now from a.f.k. So looks like they haven't dropped it just going slow.

Gurren Lagann ep 24 -

Setting up the next big transformation really. But damn the gurren-dan took a big hit. I counted at least 6 side characters getting killed. Funnily enough one of them was voiced by Kamina's VA. So it was almost like killing Kamina again . Anyway it's pretty much following the pattern of the previous anti-spiral episodes. This'll be the downer before they hit the high with the next ep(hopefully). Looking forward to the next transformation anyhow(if/when it does happen). With this it also seems like they are getting closer and closer to the scene in the opening of episode 1. In that scene IIRC there wasn't any Kittan or Yoko standing next to Simon... so are they due for a death next?

Well I just read why it doesnt make any sense at the moment, they're not in the chronological f*cking order! Christ I hate it when shows do that, if you're going to have a story play it in the right bloody order. Well im still going to watch it because its funny as hell.

The non-chronological order is part of the point tbh as they're feeding you parts of the plotline in a certain order, though the DVD's are chronological.

the Gurren bridge mashed up... if that preview anything to go by Kittan and Yoko could be next with ep25's title being 'i accept your dying wish'(dam they could make a good couple, hope they make it through), it should rock mega hard when Simon gets the next transformation done.

they've easily made keith my fav character of the show, showing more that stuff with sam dying and then Matsuka saving him twice in a row at the expsense of his own live made Kieth more human(and quote emotional, its the only death that moved me so far) , i can only see Tony getting his comuppance for all the people he's killed.

Seto no Hanayome ep18-20, still have plenty more to watch after falling behind when Ayako/Otacon stopped subbing. Anyway seem it getting crazier very episode with some wild stunts including 'special drinks'(shame the flashing of tits was censored ), brilliant yuri/Yaoi misunderstandings and of course Luna papa return with eroge game to guide him which was completely nuts...

Aria OVA - great stuff, really good animation and art throughout(which Aria really deserves). OVA is one of those rare Alicia/Akari stories which makes it all the better, season 3 can't come soon enough.

Gigantic Formula ep14/15 - finally some more subbed eps from Lunar, seems there setting up the Amercians as the 'bad guys'. Japan vs America final is written all over now, only a matter of time before the russians, Egypt, India and South America to go out.

After I finished it I went back and watched it all in the "right" order but was glad I'd watched it the other way at first. That home movie episode works MUCH better as the first episode because you sit there thinking "what... the... f...?" till the end. It's a lot of fun to show to someone else because you see your own reaction in them but this time you're on the otherside Watching it wrong stretches the plot out for you as well so you don't feel like it's being rushed through.

A friend of mine was disappointed that Light lost in the end, I wanted him to be found out mostly because I needed to see the reactions of the people who suspected him all along. If he'd survived though I'd have liked to have seen a second series when he becomes middle aged. They could have done a lot with that.

That was very sad but at least Hachi met up with the rest of them in the end. I need to read the Manga now so I can see a lot more.

. I'm up to episode 20 of Nodame Cantibille, I like it a lot, it's even making me apreciate classical music. I was in "orchestra" in primary school but I played guitar so it was crap for us.

I haven't started anything new at all!

EDIT: Actually I lie, before I moved I'd watched eps 1-4 of Lucky Star and ep 1 of Lovely Complex and Overdrive and I rewatched them while I didn't have the net. Lucky Star is really fun, I love shows that dare to spend ages on nonsense conversations. I have no idea why I liked Lovely Complex as it does seem very me at all, and Overdrive looked interesting, at least worth downloading another episode.

Well that was the end of Kittan but what a ****ing amazing way to go! Amongst the best death scenes in the series for me Really grew to love Kittan in the post timeskip episodes, so this scene had quite an emotional impact. As per last week's speculation, does this mean Yoko's next?

On the other hand I had a huge grin on my face when Boota entered the cockpit and "activated" his spiral power

Once again Yoko gives the kiss of death though. Guess third time might be the charm for her. Let's hope she doesn't kiss Simon before the final battle. Simon's new look will take a bit of getting used to(now he really looks like some of the dudes from old super robot shows with the weird goggles/masks), but the transformation has finally happened looking forward to seeing the new form in more detail soon. The preview for the next ep was quite weird though, especially the first few bits with what looked to be a unique looking Simon.

Still loving it, and with two episodes to go I hope they can keep this up or even surpass it. Please don't disappoint! Please don't disappoint! Please don't disappoint! Please don't disappoint!

You summed up what i thought of the episode with Kittan kickass exit...getting to use uber spiral power that only Simon and kamina have used. and lol and Yoko's kiss of death... will she make it to ep27 alive? Seem's the gods have all the gurran-dan members marked for death.

I'm pretty sure Gianax will give us a good ending, hopefully at least on par with Gunbuster series.

Just watched Sayonara Zetsubo sensei 5, really funny, bizzarre, stuff. Looking forward to finishing the series once I get the net back.

It's horrible not having the net isn't it, I was without it for more than 3 weeks when I moved last month and then it didn't come on when it was meant to. Then I went and moved again and had to wait a bit more, it's come on early this time so I'm making up for lost time now!

I watched a load of 1st episodes last night, I really like Denno Coil, it's really weird but it's not empty and silent or a complete head**** like the weird ones often are. The goings on arn't being explained in a patronising way like they are in most Western shows, the girl that's new to town is being used for that but not everything is being explained to her straight away and this is a good thing, shame there seems to be only 2 more episodes at the moment, is it coming out very slowly? You were all talking about episode 1 months ago

5cm per Second seems nice but I've downloaded part one from a subber releasing it in parts. Think I'll download one of the big chunks of the whole thing next rather than wait for the other parts to come out. Anyway, I totally felt for the guy during his whole train journey as I've had trips like that before. No idea why I'm liking these kinds of stories these days and it really looks nice doesn't it.

I'll have to watch the rest a bit more before I comment, I'm not sure how far I'll carry on with Hayate, it feels a bit too "light"?

I finished Nodame Cantabille as well which is a shame cos I've been loving it. Lovely ending but it wraps things up so well there's no chance of anymore

Oh anyone seen Animal Crossing? I think it's a movie released in parts I downloaded the first part last night but haven't watched it yet. I can remember seeing the trailer ages ago and getting all excited. I don't expect it to me amazing, it's just cool to see the game as a show.

as per everybobdy else, gurren lagan 25 was awesome.

also just saw lucky star 24, which i assume is the last. another top episode though, complete with the full cheerleader routine. great cameos from akira and more haruhi injokes.

zombie loan finished too, at only eleven episodes. nothing too special, but a reasonably nice little run. in fact if i knew it was only going to be 11 shows i wouldnt have been thinking about whether i should continue getting it or not, as i do like mini series.

also got about ten episodes of d gray man to watch.
i got bored of it and was thinking about ditching it, but apparently it ends soon, so i might as well finish it up. i think it would have benefited from having a shorter run though. loads of rubbish episodes, that i assume are filler. hopefully something cool will actually happen in the end.

There is so much filler in grayman i've given up, the manga just craps all over it, i think less than half the 45 odd eps out are manga stories.

Also ditched Devil May Cry for being so boring, at least Gungrave had the Mafia plotline backing it up. I think i just stopped watching Zombie Loan after the 1ep, subbers took ages to get another ep out which made it forgotten title for me.

On a better note wooooo Overdrive ep12-15, underdogging at it's best.
