How much did you watch of AirMaster, razz. I know it has lull of decent fights till Kinjiro turns up and after straight that comes the Woman's Tag Wrestling stuff, top notch stuff.

Women? Tag? Wrestling? Just add mud to that combination and you have the best series ever.

Finally saw all the FMA you sent me Tobal. Lord, that's good. Certainly one of the finest anime series I have seen, with humour, action and a healthy dose of sadistic violence. Still puzzled why Winry appears in the first OP though. She is barely in it at that point (in fact, she barely appears in all those episodes)

Hughes is the man. Especially in the Flame Vs Full Metal episode

Only 5 eps so far. I like it, but I was crying in laughter today at some of the scenes. Lighthearted anime, comic and has a lesbian theme, not bad, but not what I was expecting lol..

It's a good side order with naruto and samurai 7, which I got today and I love it.

watched ep 1 and 2 of Soukyuu no Fafner, got some nice stuff in it (its like Rahxephon with mind reading aliens/dead things, on Tracey Island ), though i can tell right away from the amount of death already, this is another Saikano with lots of the main cast being dead by the end of it, but as least won't be as crap as Saikano, i hope.

Yeah, the Aoi/As is the one i've got. Eps 2 has been dl, but i haven't had time to watch yet.

Anyone here a fan of this ugly and beautiful world? Ive downloaded the first batch torrent from eps 1-6, but yet to watch it. Ive got high hopes for this series.

Im a huge fan of 12 episode series, and my beloved gunparade march was the perfect definition of a relatively short anime series. I find 26 eps is sometimes a bit too long personally.

I agree about the intro though, "Battlecry" is fully lodged in my head, and playlist at the moment. I read that the artist, Shing02's other work is of a similar quality, can anyone clarify?

The instrumentals for both the OP & ED are done by a producer called Nujabes who is excellent. His album has the same soul/hip-hop flavour to it and has some cincanatti mc's on it with only one track from shingo02 (thankfully). As for singo's stuff its never great, no real quality to the flow and the lyrics would be laughed at for there simplicity if it were anyone else (talking about his other stuff not battlecry, which is quite well thought out).

bottom line try and pick up the nujabes album (Metaphorical Music) as it is excellent.


Also i'd like to clarify the distinction between the A-S and Aoi versions of SC, they are both of a completly different quality, please do not mix them up.

Finished watching that Beautiful and Ugly world last night, quite a disappointing series, i was hoping they(the main couple) would kick the crap out of each other but it never happened, the final fight was completely lame and lasted all of 2 seconds, such wasted potential with the whole 'come to start the next extinction so new life can take other' angle and while the rest of the fights(what few there where) are quite watchable and well animated, but everything instead centred around the filler, going with the 2 girls 1st beach/forest/school/Holiday trips.

as for Gunparade, it felt to short and lightharted for what was a losing war, and needed more mech action from the comedy/romance, plus if your not a fan of game some the story elements meant little to me(i.e. the main blokes budda/peace stuff when there where MiA) and where this monsters come from.

Sorrrry , i couldn't remember of hand if both or just 1 of the groups did Samurai Champloo, what are AS doing at the moe? there output seems to slowed way down since Koi-Kaze finished, and im missed Tengu Tenge and any new projects lined up?

Ok, sat through epsiodes 2 and 3 of samurai champloo and it's grown on me, i really want to see what happens next!! Huyah!

Nice art direction with the really thick black outlines. I'm not much a fan of hip-hop or rap in the slightest so the beginning credits lyrics grate but the underlining music is quite soothing.

Any know when the 4th installment is due? And is there anything else of high qulaity about?

Oh yeah. It seems a couple of groups called Vagrant-Anime and Anime Reentry are doing Kurau now. Their writing is appalling, mind you, with misspellings all over the place, but it's watchable and understandable. Glad I can see the rest of it now.

Pfft. Ayu released their Kurau ep 2 at 3PM, it was announced as licensed at 4PM and all torrents were pulled off by at least 5PM, with the age-old cry of "BUY THE DVDS!!!!!!111". They ain't doing it anymore.
