Baccano 14: First of the dvd episodes at last! Great stuff again. Isaac and Miria were true to form as per usual and the new crazy guy is awesome. Need more!

Edit: Also, currently working through an slightly more aged series called Legend of the Glactic Heroes from the late 80's/early 90's. Despite that it's a fairly impressive series of politics and tactics that puts me in mind of Crest/Banner of the Stars but far more detailed. 110 episodes as well which should keep me busy.

Bizarely i started watching that recently too as i haven't found too much this season which i'm really enjoying. I have to say its amazingly good, its in a totally different league from most anime i have watched recently and i'm always looking forward to the next episode. Recommended for space opera fans.

Almost finished with Fate Stay Night, intersting series, not great but enjoyable enough to watch it all.

By the way are there no groups subbing "Moonlight Mile: Touchdown" anymore? Can still only find two episodes.

Wow they really are slow So slow the the series finished before getting eps 3 out hehe, ah well can't complain really...it's free.

It was finished before they released any of it. As I remember it was a pretty spur of the moment thing. And they don't usually do fansubs. Oh well I can see why people would complain. It's better than nothing I guess. I'm just glad I didn't start on the first series yet. I'll probably wait until it's all done.

Saint Seiya - totally missed the new OVAs that came out (and ep11/12 of Hades) so spent a while finding them all up to ep4 of Elysion, even though the animation is dodgy as hell i just can't get enough of the SS formula. Get beaten the crap out of and then stand up again and again, have huge long ass discriptions of plot and moves and the fighting pretty much conists of just special moves and the "seiya, seiya" chants .

I was thinking wtf can seiya possible do after getting thrashed in the Bronze and Gold Cloths, but they hold more surprises for us with poseidon lending a hand and of course Seiya getting a "God Cloth" which totally rocked.

Shame we have to wait till Augest for the final 2 eps.

More Chane! Yay! Glad to see she's getting so much attention after her brief appearances in the series. Loved the bit with Jacuzzi getting a tatoo for Nice and then ending up crying with her.

The only downside is waiting for the 28th for the last episode. I really hope they make a second series of this. It (and Moyashimon) beg for another series.

Has anyone seen that CGi anime movie called Vexille? Just noticed an advert for it on Penny Arcade (or maybe it was CAD), just wondering if its suppsoed to be any good?

Also does anyone know where I could buy/download copies of Jap DBZ, played the Burst Limit demo and it's made me want to watch the series again but not in the god awful US dubs.

I love the DBZ eng dub, classic. The american dvds as far as i know have the japanese language track, i think burst limit will have dual audio when it comes out aswell. TBF Gokou's seiyuu is god damn ear achingly bad, due to the japanese keeping the original voice actor and tempo since the original Dragonball (where Gokou aged between 5-7). You will find out Gokou's balls never did drop but instead, went so far up he sounds like a squeeky lemming. See for yourself...



I think the previous games on the ps2 had dual audio, i know the very first budokai game in the uk had the japanese dub.

saw the live action Initial D dvd in HMV for ?3 and its actually pretty good, some awesome driving scenes and a decent story, worth picking up imo

I didn't like it. It had edison chen in it and i can't stand him. Also they changed Bunta to a massive drunk. Shame really, i really like Anthony Wong.

Goku's voice is definately not great but the other characters sound much more convincing in jap versions imo, i'll see if I can find a copy of the uncut american dvds.
Problem I have with Eng dubs is that most of the voice actors tend to just talk like they've been smoking too much or they've just drunk a fizzy drink and its gone down the wrong way

I love Vegatas voice in the US Dub. He sounds like you describe, which makes it even better when hes a midget. Sounds like everytime he begins to talk hes about to say "Kakarott im going to RIIIIP your BAAAALLS OFF!"
