I for one am glad, anbu should've ditched aone a long time ago (for numerous reasons). Hopefully this will help ANBU put out higher quality releases in a quicker timespan, and if both turn out to be **** then we always have S-O.

Oh and i found this quite funny :

Also the glut of continued anime was very welcome this week, with one piece, dears, girls bravo, fma e.t.c. add that to me finding KIMENGUMI this week and all in all its been a great week.

The One Piece fight (manga) was pretty awesome, who knew usopp had it in him.

Oh, i also picked up the new one piece movie this week... so you shall see a K-F sub of it sometime in the future.

Indeed Usopp put some thought in to fighting Luffy, nice big bang . Still i can't see Usopp winning Luffy's had far worse done to him by recent big bads. It be a while for the 5th movie, K-F only do them at the right point in the series and we only at movie 3 ><

Dam, while Girls Bravo is enjoyable the censorship is getting out of hand, episode 4 was just a mess of fog and zoomed shots, which there saving for the dvd releases it looks like, dam and im big fan of Kirie now, a girl that can do a Shining Wizard in just a towel gets my vote for "girl he should end up with"

JESUS.H.CHRIST, Elfen Lied ep 1, the sickest thing i've watched in a long while, blood,guts and heads everywhere, nudity, piss and plenty of killing of the innocent( and using there bodies for bullet shield) and the dammed. Even though its an animation, that 1st part alone made me feel uneasy. Not one for the qeasy.

Anyway i hope that S.A.T guy gets whats coming to him next episode.

Whoa. Naruto 95-96 are awesome. Although I didn't really get the point to summoning a giant slug (and evidently neither did it -- frag, I know Tsunade is a medic, but in that case a leech would have made far more sense), the whole fight was really powerful and very well animated (something that Rock Lee vs. Gaara kinda lacked IMO, despite its better dynamics). And now that they're coming back to Konoha, so are the fun characters... I want Lee and Shikamaru back!

The Rock V Gaara fight was much better animated that this, and the Hokage Battle was much Smoother and more epic(although i fav fight is still Naruto/Sasuke vs Haku). though we did get some more scenes of Tsuande hammering Orochmaru, but the music used for Tsuande's come back was rubbish and almost spoiled the mood for me. Looks like next episode is a filler that wasn't in the manga, which i reckon we can expect more of this now cos we're on the current story arc the manga is on(even though its a long story arc)

Tobal: Indeed, the Hokage vs. Orichimaru fight was great, but the fact that old man Sarutobi spent more than ten episodes agonizing with a sword in his chest and no motion at all right afterwards kind of ruined it for me.
As for Lee vs. Gaara, I agree that it had some excellent animation (both Lotus attacks come to mind) and awesome dynamics, but the problem was more one of consistency. I'm not a big fan of animation that's entirely made of black streaks flashing through the screen with fighting sounds "because he's moving so fast you're not supposed to see him", and I feel there was a bit too much of that.
Naruto/Sasuke vs. Haku was ace, though.

Now that I come to think of it, my favorite fight in Naruto remains Shikamaru vs. Temari.


Anyway... Now that the AONE release of Naruto 95-6 is out, did anyone get the chance to compare the quality of the ANBU and AONE releases?

Time wise the 3rd didn't have the sword stuck in him for long, the manga has it all happening at the time, which is clearer to see than in the anime, while the 3rd is fighting, Naruto vs gaara is happening at the same him.

got both versions and as predicted the anbu version is miles better, but thats just my opinion.
