can somebody sell me Clannad?

i tried to watch the movie but it seems like some school drama, people seem to like it - what am i missing

I'm not sure I could say "why" it's good but having seen both the series and the movie that the movie was an abomination. While it had most of the main plot points for the main route, it rushes through it ridiculously fast since it's trying to cram the conversion of two very long visual novels into 2 hours.

The series proper allow you to connect with the characters more than the movie which probably helps.

Mazinger Z ep2 - i give up, i guess you have to watch the original to get anything out of it as all it is to me is a bunch of random crap and lots of hot blooded shouting where nothing is explained. dropped.

Lol. I think being a fan of the Super Robot Taisen games really helps when it comes to Mazinger.

God, Tears to Tiara is so painful. It's really like they took Utawarerumono and put it in a medieval setting insted of ancient Japan. I wouldn't mind but only Arawn seems to be an interesting main character wheras the brother and sister just iritate the **** out of me.

At least Sengoku Basara continues to amuse me by being completely and utterly ridiculous.

Just watched the 1st episode from a 2006 show called Demonbane..what kind of garbage **** did I just suffer through? Good god it was awful.

Currently watching through the old Hajime No Ippo series, can't recommend this enough if anyone hasn't seen it. Anyone know if the newer series is as good?

Takamura take the Japanese champion title, so awesome how they animated his fight.

I hope so as SZS is getting a 3rd season after all and it not very mainstream.

Souten Kouro ep1 - Not content with just 1 manly war anime we get two! This time its china with Romance of the three Kindgoms meets Fist of the North star and im a fan of this already. If you're enjoying capcom's Basara but want it alittle less insane and more gorey then this is the show for you.

Kon ep3 - Im enjoying it, but can't help but feel Yui is mentally handicapped and Nodoka become a loner with her best friend kidnapped by the light music club.

Eden of the east ep3 - wow, this really stepped up the interest for me and easily calling this the best show this season. Lets hope it continues to be this good for the full run.

So im guessing these 'god' praised people are given millions and control to help the 'people', i went HOLY **** when the cop ordered the hit!

Natsu no Arashi ep1 - no idea what this was about apart from it was coming fromthe school rumble guy, for themost part it was ok, depends on how this use this time travel gimmick as it could get old fast. Also the art is a little... off, especially compared to school rumble.

I just started watching Gintama for the first time, very funny stuff, I especially liked episode 9 where they dont start the OP until half way through the episode because Gin is being lazy and they are focusing on the Shinsengumi.
