Going to watch the HD Haruhi movie tomorrow. Can't wait.

I love Haruhi, despite Endless Eight, and I've held off watching dodgy camera rips of this film in order to experience it properly.

Haruhi - man! this has got to be my favorite film of the year, i don't think there wasn't single bit i didn't like. I can certain see that this would be a hard film for anyone not having watched the show or read the books to understand whats going so it a massive shame alot of people will never watch it.

Having read the books that go with this sometime ago now i'd forgot most of the details apart from

the stabbing, John Smith and Kyon threating to let Haruhi lose on the data entity. I just loved the scenes with Nagato, Kyon meeting Haruhi and using the John Smith line to completing the timeline and the final scenes with him on the roof top.. damn loved him threatening the entity to keep Nagato how she was.

As for him not noticing Nagato feelings, i'm pretty sure he know there is something there but choose that timeline even with a powerless Haruhi back in his life would be crapping all over the original Nagato who's come quite far(for her) when it comes interacting with other people and it's clear he still puts Haruhi above the others still

. Again there's some stuff missed, mainly Kyon inner thoughts which where mostly displayed through his actions and facial expressions and easy to miss just like the tv show which for makes the books worth reading along with the animated stuff.

Finally watched Kiki's Delivery service... many years after i should have.

final episode of Soredemo which i have say was a really good ending and certainly unexpected for this type of show. Give me a season 2 shaft.

Twgok was ok throughout its run, the main draw being him actually doing something with the girls, but nothing i could rewatch, same with MM which wasn't great either, both forgettable.

Ika Musume, hidden gem this one. Liked every episode.

buggered of to america but the last episode was good and the brothers waiting inline for the hentai games was pretty damn funny, as was Kuroneko's little hint that she'll confess to him. I'm guessing the new ending for the dvd's will be her going off to america to leave the bro for the other ladies (which im all for ).

Favorite show of the season, even after it nearly lost me with the anime episode.

Saw Durarara in HMV today on DVD.. Doesn't seem to be a Blu-Ray release. Lame.

Winter anime starts this week.

Interested in Beelzebub, hoping the willies are kept to a minimum though...

Watched two of the new shows:

Yumeki Merry - aside from the frequent belly button shots, pretty bland and formulaic

Puella magi madoka magica - seemed to be a standard magical girl show with nice art... Then the producers drugs kicked in. Trippy as anything and seems to be worth a watch.

Got most of the new shows from this week down, so far only watched Infinite Stratos which is just Strike Witches with a male lead and all the standard "misunderstanding" comedy...

now on to the last of the big films from last year(others being Haruhi and Nanoha), Gundam 00 trailblazer. Not read anything about other than it disappointed all the gundam fans and i can see why(that can i had 2 deaths spoiled for me). It's not a gundam show anymore... they decided to turn the story all ****ing macross, only thing that was missing was someone singing during the final battle(they got close with a random song played over it).

The hole Alien angle i couldn't get over, the fighting while pretty, lacked any emotion apart from a few drips and drabs when graham turned up, patrick efforts and the gundam final Trans-AM, the aliens themselves where just a rip off the Gunbusters monsters and Macross F abilitly absorbion and lacked any character. And the ending itself... just pulling hax machines one after another until it could teleport into other universes...the only way they can continue the universe is to have go completely macross/gunbuster with Gundams vs Aliens.

I watched ep 00 of Kimi ni Todoke so far, more of a recap than anything else.

Puella magi ep1 - shaft's take magic girl stuff, certain stepping toward a nanoha style magic girl with crazy "other world" for magic bits. No doubt the standard Shaft of animated the crap out of ep1-3 then let the budget slide for rest and wait till the dvd's fix it. Anyway quite interesting story they seem to have going on based on intro

and what Homura had been saying throughout the rest of the episode, the intro isn't a flash foward but a conlusion to pink girl reseting the world leaving homura memories intact via that wish thing they mentioned at the end of the ep, could make the Rabbit guy a baddy which would be cool.

Like every season i can't pass up a Shaft production.

Freezing ep1 - Seems a mashup of Black god/My Otome plot elementals meets queens blade with more blood and just about the same amount of tits, don't quite like how much of a bitch the main girl is towards everyone and goes well over the top in subduing the other class mates, the girl who got her throat cut made me flinch a bit especially if there suppose to just heal these wounds and shrug of such an attack to go back to the classroom like good students.
