ep 17 been out for ages when it got cancelled, ep 18 got released last week as it now got a new Tv Station to be show again, and i think its licensed as there was thread on it a bit go about the Dvd R1 release.

I loathe AF-F (mainly their encodes)... but thats another story.

We wouldn't do a series if we didn't feel we could bring something unique to the table, for example we didn't release Air as we thought the Koi version really hit the nail on the head and we wouldn't be able to better it to a decent degree.

NM about Shinsen's BECK subs, i got through the 1st one (ep13) and the lack of subs titles for some of the song's, specially 'Sky Blue''s song i found a bit off putting, is this just a one off, or is the team only doing the main songs?

My personal theory is that Gaara, Temari and Kankuro drop by to help out Shikamaru and Kiba against Sakon and Tayuya. Orochimaru killed the sand's Hokage. They don't like him. It'd be perfect timing for a comeback \o/ Maybe Rock Lee and Sakura will come help. He seemed pretty determined to join in! I reckon it'll be a big kick off. We've had loads of crappy forest episodes. They're so easy and cheap to draw. And the animation lately has been really dire.

Also, em, what's his face...Itachi. I reckon he'll pop by too. Kimimaro d00d seems a bit too much for Naruto to take on. Akatsuki want to keep naruto for themselves. Perhaps Itachi will pop by and ruff up Kimimaro to make sure Naruto isn't harmed. He's in the opening sequence afterall. He has to make an appearance. I also reckon he wouldn't want sasuke getting orochi****ed.

So has Champloo improved at all? I dropped it ages ago as it was just wasting my time. I would be interested if the quality of the writing has picked up.

Oh and Gankutsuou is still this/last seasons best for me. It's so well crafted it doesn't even feel like I'm watching an anime in the ususal sense.

No songs, my decision. Didn't think it added anything to the sub, mainly because the songs were generally getting incomprehensible, this was also one of the reasons why a-e got stuck in a rut.

EDIT: Also it seems A-E have lead by example and started to drop songs to get the releases out.
