    Agreed,

Yamato is the single stupidest arsehole ina dating show ever, WTF convinced him first just let Honoka walk away without fighting when she was using the stupidest of reasons for jealously and then to top it off to lie in front of suzuka and the stupidest of lie?s to, how?d the monkey expect her to act.

Noein ep2-3 Some very nice stuff, story developing well and the fights so far have been enjoyable.

The stuff in Suzuka ep19 was to be expected really. As I've been banging on about for the last few weeks, Yamato always manages to stick his foot in it and it usuaully is his own fault. Why he didn't just tell Suzuka the truth I'll never know. I was impressed when he managed to confess to Suzuka in the 5th episode or so but my opinion of him has gone rapidly downhill from there. I'm guessing the last few episodes now are going to focus on how he might win Suzuka's heart

Just in case some of you guys haven't been following it, I'll state here that Black Cat is great. I found the Saya VS Creed fight (

or what passes for it anyway

) in episode 6 beautiful and touching in the way it was depicted. Brilliant stuff.

Oh, and Sven is officially my hero. ^^

          Mai-Otome ep7,

I thought it was a bit to soon to be giving Ayeka a powerup like that even if it is freaking cool. Looks like we?ll be having a turn out from Mi(or is Moe) be interesting to see if she still a Robot, and we may even get Mitokito(sp?) in her human form(than the name sake cat) if that organ is anything to go by as it certainly looked like her.

          Bleach 57/58,

Ichigo?s BanKai rocks and looks even better in animated form.

          Manga 204 ?

Baldies looking to be finished but a nice swerve at the end for his BanKai, still bit stupid his mate hasn?t lifted a finger yet.

          GunXSword 10/11ep ?

Been a while since the last ep was released and we get a turning point, Wendy?s certainly going to be gone for a while and the gun-ho-guns, sorry I mean Original Seven are ready to most likely kick Van?s ass.

          Blackcat 3-6 ?

Forgot about this series for a good while, maybe cos it didn?t grab me at first but it certainly has now, Sven is the man! and it?s a dam shame Saya?s kicked the bucket so early against Creed, does she live?

Suzuka 20?s out, lets hope Yamato?s gonna turn to suicide.

            Black Cat -

I wasn't expecting Saya to be killed off so soon, if at all. I thought she might be around for a long time to come. That said, it does provide a good reason for Train to become a sweeper/start kicking the **** out of Chronos. It has been surprisingly good so far. I've certainly enjoyed the episodes much more than I did the bit of the manga I read

I saw Lamune episode 1 and enjoyed it. I'm a sucker for those types of 'relationship' episodes, especially in this when you see how close the two main characters(I'm assuming) are. Had a nice relaxed feel to it and seems almost like a slice of life show from the first episode.

Karin episode 1 was a strange one. I didn't know a whole lot about it but the start of the episode led me to believe it might be a more serious vampire related show. It was interesting to find out that Karin

            is an unorthodox vampire

I also saw 2 episodes of Ginban Kaleidoscope and it's been another surprise hit with me. Really enjoyed them, some really funny moments in both episodes. It's a sports comedy anime I would say, it focuses on Sakurano Azusa who has quite the ego. Basically she's a figure skater with dreams of going to the olympics and one day she get's taken over by a ghost who is trapped inside her body for 100 days. This leads to some interesting situations particularly in episode 2, and especially near the end of episode 2. That scene with the music and the explanation of what happened is just classic, especially as Azusa talks about how embarassing it is earlier in the episode.

By the way, is it me or is the Ichigo VS Byakuya fight in Bleach 58 very reminiscing of Rock Lee VS Gaara in Naruto?

hehe, im glad im not the only one that thought that, heck we even get a form of 'opening the gates' later on in the fight, for those that have read ahead in the manga.

Now that you mention it, I do see a resemblence in there. I am loving Bleach but they have quite a few fights that need progressing and wrapping up (Soifon vs Yoruichi, Old guy vs err... young guys etc). Wonder how long this arc will span for?

                  Saw Suzuka episode 20,

wasn't too sure whether I like where it's all heading or not. Seems Honoka's gonna set herself up again for another fall with Yamato, and it looks like Miki's feelings may be coming through possibly.

I'm loving Mai-Otome. Plenty of juicy tidbits to sink your teeth into with episode 7. Looks like the story is gonna kick off sooner than it did with Mai-HiME which isn't a bad thing.

Karin's an interesting one, though why did it have to be vampires again? Seems to be the flavour of the times, what with Trinity Blood recently finishing, Blood+ starting, and Hellsing Ultimate creeping up soon. Anywho, it's certainly a nice looking series from JC Staff who seem a bit quiet this season.

I think they'll drag out the arc are far as they can being it's nearly caught up with the manga so it either gonna be a **** load of filler like naruto's currently doing or we'll get a break. I'm for the break option after seeing how bad naruto's gotten, which i only skip through now to watch any CGI fights.

and Soifon vs Yoruichi is already over.

Thing i like about Mai-Otome is the 'history' of the characters from Mai-Hime it's the extra iceing on an already sweet cake. Just from little hints of hidden things to come really give it some extra depth you don't find in other anime's.

quick edit ---- Gunparade Orchestra - 01ep is out MUST GET! please let this be as good as GP:March

Should I be watching Mai Hime first?

I only recently watched through the first few episodes of Otome and found it to be really enjoyable but from the comments here and at other places it seems I'm missing out having not seen the first series. It's one of the reason why I left it so late to watch some of the episodes in this series.

Also good to see someone finally get Gunparade Orchestra out. I watched through Gunparade March in the summer and really loved it particularly the last few episodes.

It?s worth watch Mai-Hime just because it?s Mai-Hime, and as said will give you a few more ?mark out? moments when watching Otome. Mai-Hime starts a lot slower than Otome as there a nasty twist mid way, people start dying and we get plenty of tragedy, which how I expect Otome go eventually.

I wouldn't say it's entirely necessary, since any characters who do appear in both Otome and HiME aren't supposed to be the same person anyway. As Tobal said though, there are a few nods, parodies, and homages thrown in for good measure. If you have it all then just go for it, the last couple of episodes are easily marathoned!

Alright you guys know your stuff so after my recent weekend Cowboy Bebop marathon I would like a recommendation for something new to watch. Apart from Bleach and Initial D I haven't seen much anime so over to you.

                            Thanks in advance

downloaded and watch full metal alchemist reflections last night which is a 55minute episode which covers the entire series - might be worthwhile downloading that just to see if its worth it
