Someone even posted there name and address in the feedback section. Most obvious fraud in a while on ebay. Got a bit of a shock yesterday when I recieved a letter in the post from Greater Manchester Police regarding a recent eBay purchase.
The item in question was my Xbox 360 power supply and it turns out it was stolen property. Apparently, the seller has been charged with several burglaries from the past couple of months in the Manchester Area.
The Police have asked me to provide some information about the transaction (what it was I bought, and how much it cost), which I was happy to do since the seller was a total prick and the deal was far from smooth.
They claim there will be no comeback upon myself as I was an innocent party, but I fear they'll ask me to give the PSU back as evidence or something.
Will I?
