hey i've never had a spoof mail yet. i feel so left out

no paypal ones, no ebay ones nothing. the only spoofy thing i can remember is when we first got the internet way back when (sportster flash x2 jobbie) we did the AOL zillion hour trial thingy (we all do!) and i got a message asking for account details so i just ignored it, thanks to my reading dad's pc pro mags even at the tender age of whatever it was.

Ebay non payers.

Hi,

Just looking for a bit of advice on how you would deal with a possible non payer.

I auctioned off a mint copy of Dracula X recently on Ebay only to find the highest bidder and winner of the auction has zero feedback and only created his account a few days ago.

I have a clause in my Ebay auctions that says you must pay within five days, but I usually give at least two weeks before I leave negative feed-back.

The other guy, who missed out winning has emailed me saying he wants the item and will pay via Paypal straight away. I'm not really sure what to do, as I could have an instant sale. The winner of the auction has not replied to any of my emails even though I have seen him bidding on other Dracula X auctions, and has all the hallmarks of a non payer.

What would you do?

Leave him negative and sell the item to the other guy.

Wait another week for payment even though the winner seems to be ignoring emails and has all the hallmarks of a non payer.

Leave negative and file a non paying bidder alert then re-list the item.

File a non-paying bidder alert and tell the other dude you'll sell it to him in 7 days time if the other clown doesn't respond.

If the 5 days have elapsed, then I'd sell to the next highest bidder, leave negative feedback for the winning bidder citing non-payment and lack of communication as the reason.
