Most Profitable Ebay auction ever?
Before the mods delete this, yes this is one of my own auctions but it's ended so I can't pimp it.
I recently listed these.
My stepfather used to own a videoshop that also sold games, and we got sent a load of these Castlevania posters and banners. I took some for myself, being a massive CV fan, but most of the others were simply binned because the game was such a poor seller.
I recently visited my folks to pick up some stuff for a carboot sale and decided to take these with me to stick on ebay - if I'd have gotten a tenner for them I would have been happy.
Considering they cost me NOTHING, this has to rank as one of the most profitable retrogame-related ebay auctions ever?

Nice work. Think I might have you beat by selling 9 PSPs back last winter on Ebay though! I charged a fair price for shipping, and made enough to buy my own PSP and several games.
All about being in the right place at the right time.
I also have some of the promotional-size boxes for FFX and FF VIII when they were launched in the UK. Huge and gorgeous to look at. Might put them on Ebay sometime, but for now they are my treasured possessions...

The most profit i have ever seen on ebay for some gaming Point of Sale was a massive double sided Silent Hill 3 poster which sold for about ?120+ to an american buyer, crappy thing was we had in our work loads of those posters and i binned them all persoanlly *darth mode on* NOOOOOOOOOOOO *darth mode off*
