Some british paper has been saying that alonso will partner Piquet jr at renault.

They also said, Fisicella has been told their is no space for him and they also wrote that this could be the end for him in F1

Nakajima was pretty impressive at Brazil, despite running over the mechanic. Although Toyota obviously had a say in it, I'm pleased to see the seat go to him rather than a has been like Fisi or R Schumacher.

I imagine Wurz wanted to retire from F1 before finding he has no seat for him.
I think Fisi may have another season somewhere, but I'm sure he'll retire with Barichello probably after 2008.

I heard on a recent report, That the guy who was hopping into the garage was really angry that naka was signed and has resigned.

Renault have been summoned to appear before a hearing of the World Motor Sport Council next month to answer charges of spying.


During the first round of Stepneygate hearings earlier this year, during which it was McLaren's authorised possession of Ferrari secrets that was being probed, Renault's name came up in McLaren's own investigation.

The Woking team's investigators alleged that a former McLaren team member had passed on several CDs filled with their information to Renault.

Although this matter was not looked into at the first round of hearings, McLaren's lawyers passed the information on to the FIA, who launched their own investigation into the matter
And that has now led to motorsport's governing body calling Renault up on charges of spying.

According to a FIA statement, Renault stand accused of being in possession of technical details relating to McLaren's 2006 and 2007 F1 cars.

The FIA alleges that between the period of September 2006 and October 2007, Renault had unauthorised possession of documents and confidential information belonging to McLaren.

The infomation included the 'layout and critical dimensions of the McLaren F1 car, together with details of the McLaren fuelling system, gear assembly, oil cooling system, hydraulic control system and a novel suspension component used by the 2006 and 2007 McLaren F1 cars.'

Renault will have to face the WMSC at a hearing in Monaco on Thursday, December 6.

The full statement on the FIA website read: "The team representatives have been called to answer a charge that between September 2006 and October 2007, in breach of article 151c of the International Sporting Code, the Renault F1 Team had unauthorised possession of documents and confidential information belonging to Vodafone McLaren Mercedes, including, but not limited to the layout and critical dimensions of the McLaren F1 car, together with details of the McLaren fuelling system, gear assembly, oil cooling system, hydraulic control system and a novel suspension component used by the 2006 and 2007 McLaren F1 cars

Fisi never quite lived up to his potential - He had Buttons card marked and he was more competitive than Massa, Wurz and R.Schumacher when he teamed with them - This is back when Wurz and Button where considered hot property.

Reminds me a little of Trulli, who is another that should have done a lot better.

Trulli is a great driver, but he's no racer. Typical of the sort who let F1 down for me ... he'll bang in the hot laps during qualifying but then play it safe on raceday, happy to complete the race with the minimum of fuss and pick up his pay cheque. Or that's how it appears to me.

That's why Hamilton is such a breath of fresh air. He's a racer through and through and it stands out a mile. Just what F1 needs.

Alonso wasnt at Mcalaren then though so cant have been him. My moneys on Pedro Delarosa as hes been testing with em for years "if" it is anyone.

I like Truli he is a damn good qualifier and I always felt he got shafted when he had to go to Toyota.

Weirdly I did a full circle yesterday. Was looking into Seals new album out next week (been a fan of him since beginning) and found out Briatore popped one up Heidi Klum and she had a daughter in 2004 to him. Looks like he instantly chucked her (as he does hes now dating Wonder Bra model) and she met Seal and married him in 2005 (and hes adopted Briatores daughter) very interesting fact not
