        Noooooooooooooo!

DC! I thought he'd end up hanging about for a few more years, must be fed up of sitting in a **** car every week.

He's staying at Red Bull to help with development of the car. I wonder if he has aspirations to manage a team in the longer term.

A true pro. He will be missed in F1. I doubt the Beeb will run DC and MB together though as both are former drivers. Martin is his manager though, so will get a cut either way, ha ha.

As a massive DC fan I am obvioulsy sad to see him go. I am happy though, that he was able to pick his time rather than to just end up without a drive. I am planning on making a big DC banner for the Valencia GP so look out for it.

True I suppose. It would be sad to see him do 'Fisi' and end up at the back of the grid, desperate for any drive.

Quite close at the top though. What on earth has gone wrong with Heidfeld recently?

A tad more local for me!

Can't believe that, isn't it currently a bit of a dump?

It's miles away from me Better get to the F1 next year then as I'll not get the chance for a long time now it seems.

BBC have updated the site now and say it needs a heck of a lot of work doing, not only to the facilities but the track also, and that its currently no where near the standard of Silverstone.

                                Horrible news.

The 1993 Donington GP was only a memorable race because of one man, and because it rained.

It's great for bikes, a really great track, but for a current generation F1 car - no way.

So in the last few years we've lost the old Hockenheim, Suzuka, Imola, almost lost Spa, and now Silverstone??

The classic tracks are slowly disappearing, as Bernie keeps on demanding more money.

In a couple of years, no more flat-out Beckets action, watching the cars shake under the downforce.
