Massa had a problem with overheating brakes so he couldn't push too hard, although it still makes me wonder why he let Hamilton through with such ease. Piquet couldn't find as it would have allowed Massa to catch up and he would have been overtaken by both the McLaren and the Ferrari eventually. I wanted him to win though, I always like suprise wins

Hamilton just had the best car, which is suprising as after last years scandel its a Ferrarir rebranded anyway so dunno why Kimmi was crap
It certainly looked like your friend Alonso was getting a lesson in overtaking; he was getting passed just about every time they showed him. Piquet's been useless all season, but even though he got lucky with the Safety Car's timing, at the end of the day he started 17th and finished 2nd and managed to pull out a lead from Massa, so credit where it's due.

So now I see your problem with Hamilton is that McLaren have made some improvements and that's the only reason he's winning. I guess that explains why his team-mate Kovalainen (whom you told us would thrash Lewis at McLaren) has been right behind Hamilton for his last two wins... No doubt it'll be a different story from you when Alonso goes to Ferrari and has one of the fastest cars again.

FA should go to Ferrari. F1 needs great rivalries and a continuation of the battle between them would be great.

Alonso or Kubica hopefully. Kimi's gone ever so bland. Saying that, he was for the first half of last year as well and look where he ended up!

Can't see them booting out Kimi, but unless Massa suddenly pulls his socks up he'll be out the door I'm sure. Kubica in a Ferrari would be ideal. And would rub Alonso's nose in it no end

Unless I'm very much mistaken, Massa is leading Kimi in the drivers championship at the moment. If he's ahead or close to even at the end of the year they'd have a hard job justifying terminating his contract (that I think runs until the end of '09) yet keeping Kimi on.

Kimi doesn't seem bothered atm so maybe he'll retire early.

Neither Ferrari driver seems too fussed at present to be honest. Can't see Massa leading Kimi for too much longer, however, Kimi needs another swift boot up the backside, then sure he'll come back with a couple of
podiums/wins would be a shame from a viewing point of view if Hamilton just ran away with the title from here on in, hopefully the next race will put everything back on track for a exciting few months.

1st a good F1 race, an excellent performance by Hamilton !

but the MotoGP race was one of the most amazing races I have ever seen, the battle between Rossi and Stoner was EPIC ! the laptimes they were driving were amazing and the overtakings between the 2 of them were stunning, Rossi really was amazing, the places where he passed Stoner were unbelievable. To bad Stoner made that little mistake, if they could take the battle to the finish would have been mind blowing....
Yep, the Moto GP race was the best I have seen in years. Stoner was just moaning at the end, but how good was Rossi under braking, it was incredible.

Brilliant racing from both of them, they are so far ahead of the others at the moment it is crazy.

The first few laps of that MotoGP were SENSATIONAL. The rest was top as well. Best racing I've seen all year in any format.

Looks like the Ferrari drivers have had a kick up the backside, then again it's only practice so who knows. So important to qualify well there, very few overtaking opportunities.

I still have my fingers crossed for a re-run of 2006 and a complete underdog to win, come on DC and Button, this could be your only chance, do a little rain dance!

Nothing to do with the race but I caught a show this morning - The Factory - on Eurosport. Really enjoyed it. It's following the Williams team this season behind the scenes down at, obviously, their factory. Good stuff! Well worth a watch.

Well that's just changed the race!

Gutted for Massa. Nice to See Heikki get his first win. Great drive from Glock. Kimi manages to get a podium with a lacklustre drive. Hamilton still leading the championship.

WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT THREE WEEKS TILL THE NEXT RACE?!?!?!
