Maybe they should dump Gibernau - the guy barely manages to keep his bike on the tarmac

It was another excellent Moto GP this w/e, which nearly got missed as the race was on a Saturday. Rossi made some brilliant overtakes and has some great scraps with Melandri (future Moto GP champ I reckon), and Gibernau took a ride in the gravel. Again.

Given that BAR was created by British American Tobacco, largely because Ken Clarke is a big F1 fan and wanted an excuse to hang around the paddock a lot, as Tobacco sponsorship gets forced out it's no wonder they're selling up, though.

Biaggi's no better either though Marty, agree on the Melandri front, champion once Rossi buggers off.

Felt sorry for Capirossi though. Great race i thought, and almost missed it aswell.

Was looking for footie results and stumbled across it. Melandri just looks better and better.

          Agree on future champ.

            I missed it

Wish it was a bit more advertised or at least repeated late night like the F1 is.

Bit more news here about the Honda B-team.

Seems to be very likely from that article that it is indeed Honda B, Sato will drive with the second seat taken by Anthony Davidson.

Japanese GP this w/e and then only one more to go until the end of the season:

              Live race: Sunday 9 October 0520-0805 (ITV1)

              Race re-run: Sunday 9 October 14:00-16:30 (ITV1)

Who's getting up to watch it at 5 in the morning then? Think I will if I can crawl out of bed in the dark!

Chinese GP the following week's not so bad, programme starts at 6am.

It's live on terrestrial TV here, which is unsual as the Japanese GP has not be shown that way for over 15 years. Bizarre considering Japan's influence in F1.

another engine replacement for KR, Ferrari looking handy (after first two practice sessions)

I really want to see Schumi back up there. I have missed his displays of excellence. The only real highlight this year was Imola so let's look forward to a revival in 2006.

Quite agree, a good year next year is the only way we'll see him in F1 beyond 2006.

What's amazing is people writing him off as though he is a spent force yet they fail to recall that just last year he won 13 of a possible 18 races. To put that into perspective, last year he won as many races as DC has over his whole career spanning ten years or more. Incredible!

Off topic, but have a look at the new Mitsubishi Concept-X. I assume it's the form that the new Evo will take. I personally think it looks awful, far too American, but that' just me.

It is a love/hate thing with Shumi, no middle ground, I'm one who would love to see him win another world title before retiring, for him to beat KR, Alonso etc next year would really confirm him as the best, (not that it needs confirming tbh)

                              Ughh.

Looks like a chaved up version of the new smaller Aston Martin.
