BTCC back today on ITV4 - yay!

Not a fan of BTCC, just never clicked with me, have tried over the years.

Back to MotoGP, Pedrosa has had surgery again and will have to sit out at least the next two races, so effectively no chance of him winning the title in 2015.

Good BTCC meeting. A bit of a lack lustre first race then bam, the second race had everything but the kitchen sink.

Plenty of viewing this weekend with the F1 & Moto GP, so a Brit won F1, Moto 3, Moto 2, was never going to happen in Moto GP, but Marquez's pole lap on the spare bike he jumped on to do a sighting lap then pole lap right at the end of qualifying was pretty special I must admit.

Too much whining going on in F1 at the moment, especially from Red Bull, crying because they have a crap engine.

Sadly I haven't seen a MotoGP race since last year when it moved to BT sport :/

Yeah, same here with Moto GP. I'm enjoying F1 though.

Yep I wish Red Bull would just f-off right now. All their complaining, and Ferrari and Mercedes will never supply them with an engine so Renault are their only choice, as they won't fund their own one.
They'll be lucky to get fourth in the constructors championship this year, they certainly won't be any higher now Kimi can be arsed to race again.

Amazing: an exciting watchable F1 race from start to finish in Hungary yesterday. Also a very poignant start where, after the death of Jules Bianchi this week, the one minute remembrance followed by the strangely apt and melancholic rendition of the Hungarian national anthem really caught the mood beautifully.

Yes best race for quite a while. Get the feeling Rosberg will always be the bridesmaid while Hamilton is there.
Just keep thinking how gutted Alonso must be at the Ferrari revival this year.

Was a great race. Encapsulated what I love about F1.

Moto GP has been fantastic this year, such a shame you guys are missing out with it being on BT Sport.
Fingers crossed Rossi can keep Lorenzo and Marquez behind him until the end of the season, it's going to be a close one.

Extraordinary final meeting of the BTCC season at Brands Hatch yesterday.

After the hype the first race was actually a bit of a anti-climax but the result set up a fascinating second race which in turn resulted in the whole championship being determined by the very last race. That turned out to be the most incredible race of the year.

To guarantee the best chance of winning the BTCC Jason Plato had to finish first with a point for the fastest lap time. Gordon Sheddon needed to finish in 5th place or better but, because of a mechanic issues in the second race, he was starting almost at the back of a 20+ car grid.

Plato drove it perfectly despite safety car incidents destroying his lead three times but what was amazing was that Gordon Sheddon drove through the field like a knife through butter, his brake discs glowing red for much of the race. He got up to the position he needed to just in time and was then given an extra place by his team mate Matt.Neil just to make sure. Nothing more Plato could do - BTCC to Sheddon, Plato second and Neil third.

If there had been no safety cars Plato would have almost certainly have won and if he had not had a puncture when in first place on the last lap in an earlier meeting the BTCC would have been his even before this final meeting. He must have been really gutted.

And still more viewing figures for the F1 bore fest with all its androids.

Yep it doesn't make any sense. Far better motor racing with the BTCC over the whole season. F1 does have its moments and genuinely good races but they're few and far between. Every meeting with the BTCC you're going to get to see great driving skills, competitive races and incidents in almost every race.
