Good qualifying to set up the race grid nicely for tomorrow, ice-cool last second Kimipleased for Alonso - although I'm not his biggest fan, both McLaren's are going to have their work cut out tomorrow for sure. Another goof performance from Kubica also, he hardly seems to get a mention by ITV.

Be interesting to see how much the Renault have improved on race day. Nice to see Piquet get into the top 10 for the first time. I've found him a bit disappointing so far.

Bit of a procession like Barca always is just with lots of retirements this time. Good result for Webber and Button and my oh my, what a crash from Kovi. Amazing that he got away with that with no serious injuries. Was it not all a bit similar to Hamiltons tyre/wheel problem in quali last year?

Yes not a very exciting race, thought Kovi's crash was going to be pretty nasty the way the Marshalls were acting but seems to got off lightly, could have easily been nasty, especially the way the nose broke off. Kimi's got a nice nine point lead at the top of the table now, good damage limitation from Hamilton, still, would like to have seen him and Alonso have a tussle or ten.
Felt sorry for Heidfield having to pit illegally, sure he would have picked up a couple of points otherwise. That rule really does need changing.
Istanbul should be another strong Ferrari circuit, McLaren really need to up their game to close up that 0.4 seconds a lap they are currently adrift by.
