Hopefully they will have some interviews with them to show after the highlights tonight, but in a news article I read online, Alonso is already saying it's no big deal, they just crashed because the McLaren was the faster car. Seems a bit of a strange one.

I noticed a few Walker-esque gaffes from James Allen today. Apparently, Raikkonen lost a second in the first pit stop. Try 2 tenths, James. Together with his mis-identification of drivers and missing a couple of overtakes while drivelling on about nothing. I really hope the bbc don't hire him.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, but then I've never been a fan of him (who has though eh?).

Thought it was especially funny yesterday in qualifying when he was shouting "AND HERE COMES MASSA OVER THE START/FINSH LINE, CAN HE DO IT!!!!?!?!", and Martin Brundle was just like "actually, that's Raikkonen."

Haha, I'd forgotten about that one. I was wondering how Massa had changed his helmet half way around the lap and why it was showing 'Raikkonen' on the timing screens.

Although I agree with you totally on that tit, if you watch Kimi's first pit stop his was stationary for quite a while after the guys had finished. Maybe a problem with their light system.

Have they released any info on their system? Is it just a guy on the pit wall pushing a button or is it linked to the cars system?

Yeah, he was slow away but the caption before the stop showed he was 5.1 behind and after Massa's stop he was 5.3 behind.

If that's not the system, then it should be!

Which ever he was referring too he's still a douche. We can all agree on that.

I'm waiting by the phone at the minute. Ferrari should be calling any minute to secure my mad skillz.

James Allen: Murray-esque mistakes without the likeable personality.

However, if you think ITV is Hamilton biased then you should see the Spanish coverage: Alonso everywhere, both on the program and in all the adverts, except from a small five minute section walking around the Mclaren headquarters with De La Rosa.

                      It's probably bearable in spain

over here it's annoying specially hearing that Silver-fox on the mic going on about 'Will lewis win the race find out after the break'

Go back to Button mania please...

Just entered a draw at work for 2 days at a European GP, VIP tickets and flying out with Lewis Hamilton on a private jet.

                        Sweeeeeet.

At least you live in beautiful Seville.

I think Ron Dennis should have a massive party once Max finally got the bullet/axe

Don't know the details, but BTCC is on this weekend as well.

ITV shows the racing on a Sunday from 1230. So not the all day marathons that Setanta showed last year.
At least ITV is showing the support races and not spending the time talking about Lewis Hamilton.
Pity they don't show both rounds of the Carrera Cup GB though.
