I'll probably be out Friday night, but I might try and make it back to see the coverage at 0215.

Final Qualifying session probably isn't until about 3.30

Both qualifying and the race live for me, I love seeing all the new liveries and stuff in the first race of the year.

For those of you who have a Sky+ box can just record it, so that you get the full version and not any edited down stuff. Although I do understand it's not as exciting as staying up till late morning.

I'm looking forward to the new season!

I'll Sky+ it then watch it in fast forward when I get up. Not since the days of Nigel Mansell have I got up early for an F1 race. Its lost some of its sparkle for me.

Ive always wanted to go to one of those GP parties you hear about. Good company, plenty of drinks, and then sit down to watch the start of a new F1 season. What could be better (other than sleep)?

I think Im gonna have a few drinks at least, prob wont bother going to sleep. Actually, when I come back from the pub, I reckon I might just play a little Forza to get me in the mood

Just reading that Sony are sponsoring this years F1 coverage (was Honda last year), nice to see some regular prime time PS3 advertising hitting these shores

Yeah, but I'm just excited to see any new coverage.

Looks like itv's f1 website has secured a deal where they will broadcast live streams of Friday's practice sessions for free, plus all press conferences.

Great news. For some, I guess it won't be that important, but for F1 addicts like myself this is heaven.

                      That is splendid news.

Thank Christ for that, we still don't have an aerial in our house so I had my fingers crossed for some streaming service.

The sooner Play TV comes out the better then I'll fork out to have an aerial fitted.

Can I kill a few hours at work on a Friday now then watching practice sessions? Hooray.

                            Practice sessions are done

No surprises really, good times from Webber, hopefully Honda are on the right track, Alonso's looking well over a second off the pace.

I watched the highlights of the practice sessions on the ITV site. Good quality.

From the 6 mins they gave to both sessions combined it looks like McL and Ferrari are the boys to beat (again), the track is slippy, Alonso isn't too hot in the Renault and the lack of TC makes for some great drifting/sliding (there was one great shot head on of Hamilton all crossed up).

Looking forward to my bacon sarnie and watching the quali as soon as I get up tomorrow now.

Wow... I'm really out of the loop. Ross Brawn now the boss of Honda? sweet!
