Ferrari really seemed to drop the ball but agree with you Holliss that Kubica did great, knew Alonso would struggle!

Another thumbs up for the lack of traction control. You could see the extra movement in the car under braking and it was great to see drivers really pushing the limits.

I tend to agree with Brundle that we will see even more mistakes tomorrow when the cars are battling at close quarters.

Superb grid. Can still see Kimi winning but he'll struggle to get past the BMWs, never mind the McLarens. Disappointed with renault's pace but still happy there seems to be three contenders for race wins.

yep, great qualifying session. As Brundle said, before they only needed to think about going intp the corner as they could just floor it, now they have to think about going into the corner, and exiting it. Whole different thought process going on now. One of Lewis's slides on the second last corner was awesome, nice car control there.

I loved to see the F1 back on again, although I wasn't as hardcore as some of you, as I watched the re-run at 1:15pm today.

As others said; I loved seeing Hamilton slide and some of the others lose some control. Much more exciting now. However, I do think I wont do that good in the fantasy F1 game now that Kimi's at the back.

Just ordered myself one of the new Red Bull racing F1 tops.
Bad pose from DC and I wont be tucking my shirt in. I thought the team looked cool in them yesterday. I need a new shirt to replace my Minardi team shirt.

FINALLY, F1 has become exiting to watch again !! great Qualifying session !
Without TC the onboard shots are amazing to watch again as you can see them work with the car to keep it on the track, now you can see them pushing it to the limit again, previous years with all the assist it looked like they were running on rails and it looked very "easy" excellent stuff, now if we get some overtaking in the race we could be back in buisiness !

I hope MotoGP takes an example of this and they trow out traction control away for next season as well !!

You gain points for every place your driver makes up in the race, so you should be in for a pretty good haul if Raikonnen makes it into the top six.

Good start to the season. Everyone gave their clown shoes a good polish again. heh.

Slapped my cheek when Kimi engine started to conk out and a loud sigh when Bordais pulled off. Good start to the fantasy F1 ey.

Had a look at the ticket prices from Valencia. Bloomin' 'eck, won't be doing that one any time soon. Must be nice to have a Teachers exorbitant salary.
