Seriously impressed with Vettel. Good to see the Red Bulls doing well. Hopefully be a good one tomorrow!

Not only that but in the second and third qualifying sessions, having the balls to only do one flying run. Great consistency from the young lad.

Excellend stuff from Rubens also, especially as we now know he is carrying a bit more fuel (than Button) as well.

A very interesting grid for tomorrow

An interesting grid indeed for what promises to be an interesting race. Especially as

          IT'S RAINING!!!!!!!!!!

Quote of the day (so far):

            He got kippered by Kubica.

Looks like the officials on the podium forgot to take their clothes out of the bags after picking them up from the dry cleaners.

Ferrari need Vettel and Alonso right now. I think it will be hard for RB to keep hold of him.

Fabulous drive from both Vettel and Webber.

Vettel is now the number one driver in my opinion - very similar to Michael Schumacher, but without the more controversial sides of that character.

7 days until the next race - not much longer until we get back to Europe and 'character' circuits.

It's scary how similar he is to a young Schu. He is the coming man, no doubt. Piquet on the other hand will be leaving F1 soon, I feel.

It'll be interesting to see if RB go for a new diffuser. In the commentary they seemed to allude to problems that could cause with the RB's unique suspension.

I'm very much liking RB and Brawn this year, it's nice to have a change to the established order.

I don't think Piquet will last beyond Bahrain. There's enough of a break after that one before the European season starts to bring someone else in. Poor lad looks totally lost doesn't he?

Felt sorry for Sutil, another potential points finish gone. At least it was his own fault this time, I think having Hamilton all over him broke his concentration.

The problem Red Bull would have changing their diffuser is it requires enough of a chassis redesign to have to go through crash testing again. Pricey, and time consuming.

Enjoyable GP, lots of fun in the rain although I wish we could have had a proper bundle into the first corner. Well played to RBR that car is stonkingly quick and Vettel has true talent and unlike Schu he seems to be a genuinely nice personality. The McLarens ran suprisingly well, it does have pace with the KERS helping both drivers nail passes at every opportunity.

BBC coverage, hmm. I really like the stuff pre-race although there's just a touch too much of it. Mike Gascoine is much more worthy contributor than bloody Jordan in my opinion. BBC need to sort out the race repeats. When ITV used to show the re-run later in the day, they used to show the full thing build up and all. Whereas BBC literally started their coverage from the safety car going in. I recorded the live broadcast and watched it when I rolled out of bed and even that was a bit cack how they cut the end of the race short without the press conferences. I know it moved over to red button but come on, this is the sort of stuff that ITV got nailed to the wall over. Also, I think I've made up my mind, I really don't like Jonathan Legard. He seems to get far too shouty at all the wrong moments and I'm sick of him constantly reading the running order 'x from y from z from ....' God's sake man we can see it on the screen, you're not on radio any more.

Oh and Ferrari <Nelson> HA HA! </Nelson>

I think Ferrari would have hard job poaching any drivers at the moment.

nice race, with a fantastic performance of both the RedBull drivers, Vettel is showed his amazing skills again. Have to say Button is really showing he is the nr.1 driver insife the team, he drove again an flaweless race, especially considering they haven't got much wet weather data with this car.

It's also a joy to see how relaxed Button is at this moment, you can see he's totally relaxes and enjoying himself, also towards his rivals. I really hope it will be a great season and exciting till the end, but for me Button can take the championship in a thrilling last race. Vettel will for sure take the titel soon.
I really think when Adrian Newey is ready with an improved RedBull with diffusor they will be the team to beat this year..

yep, I have to agree with this. he's a very likable racer with a great future ahead. Schumacher was/is a great racer, it's just so damn hard to like the man
