Shame. Hopefully it won't have a long lasting effect on his F1 future.

Musical chairs for his seat. Hulk might be a good fit.

Heidfeld's still a free agent isn't he? They *need* someone experienced to develop the car, they can't go with a couple of (almost) rookies if they expect to compete.

Weird though that we might see a car driven by Senna behind the wheel of a black and gold, Lotus Renault.

(Nothing raw. They just come across a smoking car at the end of the video.)

The next car on the stage had a camera in it. If you've seen the pic of the barrier still embedded in the car you can imagine how he crashed into it and how it whipped the car around.

Very very luck to still be alive.

Bahrain GP is now officially cancelled. Deffo the right decision, and lets be honest, no real loss to the calender. Last seasons race was a real dour affair.

Was gonna say the same thing. Let's hope they don't reschedule it, unless since then they've upgraded the track with spike pits or something.

You'd think things like nature and human beings would stop f*cking about with earthquakes and demanding more freedom and what have you so sporting events can take place on time. It's just selfishness...

Just realised how confrontational my post sounded there, hehe, sorry.

I can't see Bahrain being reorganised for later in the year now either, the situation there is worsening rather than getting better. The crown prince has called in troops from nearby countries to help keep the peace. Doing something like that has a nasty habit of them, you know, deciding to annex your little country rather than help you keep it.

Back to the F1 though, and poor old Hispania will once again turn up at the first race having had no running with their new car. Couldn't get parts through customs in time for the last testing session.

I know that many people working there are great people and are really making a go of it, but someone higher up in the chain is really screwing them with all these messed up logistic issues.

Still, lest we forget, they're a country mile away from the worst F1 team of all time... (well worth a read that link, I'd forgotten just how silly those poor fools were)
