Three great races in the BTCC from Donnington today. That new track layout is really good but WTF were they thinking of with those polystyrene type things? If others here missed it because of MotoGP you can catch the highlights on ITV1/4 later this week.
Jason Plato in the second race was in a class all of his own. Last place to third - some incredibly good driving on display all round.Comment

I actually went to the Renault event last week at Silverstone. Some great clean racing.
For me the highlight was the 09' F1 car doing about 10 laps, plus the fact I was sitting infront of the complex just before they floor it on the strights. Man F1 cars sound fantastic close up.Comment

I am really struggling to understand why McLaren didn't pit both their drivers before the gap was small enough for Webber to jump them in the pits!? It just doesn't make sense, you could see Webber was closing in over time and that the right move was to pit earlier!Comment

Rossco, that's exactly what baffled me for the second half of the race! Was slightly irritating that the commentary team took a half a lap to notice Webber had blitzed them by a mile despite the camera showing the Red Bull speeding past the pit exit.Comment

They stated on the forum that they were looking for the gap to feed back in and by the time it opened up Webber was infront of them.
