The FIA has deleted the rule prohibiting teams from ordering their drivers what to do, among several changes for next season

"Oh no, we had to find Ferrari guilty of something! Quick, lets get rid of the law so it doesn't happen again!"

Team orders that affect the outcome of a race should be stamped down on. If someone slowed down to let another horse from the same owner win in a horse race, that jockey would be banned for a long time.

Could you imagine If Man U, deliberately and blatently sat back and gave someone an open goal to score in, in order to prevent Man City from getting a champions league spot? It would be unthinkable.

Why then is it acceptable in motor racing? If you want it to be a pure team sport, get rid of the drivers championship.

The BBC already have a great commentary team for F1. Just watch free practice. Ready made pairing there.

Radio commentary is a different skill really, if you have good radio guys you tend to want to keep them on the radio as it's much harder to find replacements there.

Although he's not anywhere near as bad as Legard, I find David Croft quite annoying. I'll be glad if they pick Coulthard instead.

Crofty is a good choice, but personally I would go for Ben Edwards.

I can't see the point in Coutlhard he is way to corporate for my liking, but it works well against the more outrageous rantings of Jordan.

                  Marussia Virgin Racing

                  24. Timo Glock
                  25. Jerome D’Ambrosio

Petrov is likely to be confirmed at renault at the end of the week.

Just Force India, Toro Rosso and HRT to confirm now.

As expected, Petrov is staying at Renault. Hulk could be really boned now.

Narain Karthikeyan has signed for HRT.

He has notable backing so he could be in the seat the whole year.

Good grief, he's as useless as the car probably will be so a perfect match.

I'm still amazed India doesn't have an F1 champ yet. Have you seen the way they get their scooters and tuk tuks around on the roads over there? Amazing stuff. Three lane motorways are good for at least five Suzuki cars side by side. Makes Italian roads look civil.

They're rather have him than Chandok? Shame Chandok hasn't got the cash, rubbish how we have to have so many useless drivers in the series just cause they have a fat wallet and there are teams with not enough backing.
