Good set up for the race tomorrow after qualy. Alonso looks odds on really unless Webber passes him at the start and does Hamilton later on. Vettel's only chance is if Alonso's prancing horse is put down during the race.

Anyone know what the easiest F1 circuit is to get to, probably using plane and public transport? I think it's finally time for me to go to a race in the 2011 or 2012 seasons. Would like to go to Spa but for some reason have the impression its a b'stard to get to.

Could do Silverstone but I'd have to hire a car and I think the ticket cost would be massive.

Is it best to book tickets as soon as the season calendar is announced and where do I buy from?

Apparently Spa is very easy to get to and the whole weekend, including travel, works out cheaper than Silverstone. Silverstone has fairly good access these days and as expensive as it is I'd say it is probably worth it. I think this year (for three day Gold tickets) I probably spent around £400 including travel and camping.

Think we got the tickets from f1.com

I've put money on Lewis winning the championship, but I think it's between Vettel and Alonso now. Much rather Webber or Hamilton take it though!

        Interesting, thanks PeteJ.

What odds did you get on Hamilton? Adds a bit of extra excitement for you tomorrow.

Hoping that Button will return the favour for Vettel by driving into his radiator.

            I got 20/1, worth a punt I thought!

I'd love Button to take out Vettel just to hear Mr Pointy Finger whinge.

3 engine failures and a Lewis Hamilton win will do me fine today.

Ooh. Vettel was a bit naughty at the restart.

Not my favourite driver but perhaps the most deserving.

Alonso demonstrates yet again why nobody likes him.

Oh well. Glad Alonso didn't win at least. See him moaning at Petrov at the end for not letting him by. What an idiot. Just because you're not fast enough to get by a slower car doesn't mean you should moan at him for holding you off all race.

Boring pap, a circuit that looks a million dollars but is complete rubbish for men to race on.

Great race. Great season. Congratulations to Vettel. Awesome stuff.

Yeah, awesome awesome season. Loved it from start to finish. Quite fitting that the previous two champions are on the podium beside Vettel to hand over the reigns for another year.

Yeah, I noticed that, last three World Champions together on the podium. Glad to see Vettel win it. He did what he had to do and the others failed to deliver so you can't take it away from him. First race excepted this has been a great season. Bring on 2011!

I can't understand why someone designing a circuit from scratch wouldn't try and make it good for overtaking as that's what makes for a good race. I realise many different cars will race on it and in time F1 cars will be different to what they are now but I'm sure they could still have produced a circuit better suited for overtaking.

It was a fairly dull race after a good qualifying session but I'm glad to see Alonso not take the title.

Another pleased that Vettel won and no mechanical woes ruined anyone's race. Renault did a storming job for Red Bull today. It'll be interesting to see what no F duct, KERS and an adjustable rear wing does next season.

Following on from my earlier post about attending a race which is the best grandstand to be in at Silverstone?
