I think they should make it free for all or bin it or KERS. Surely it would be simpler to introduce an overtake button, engine side by increasing revs. The concern is that on some circuits it would be advantageous to be in 2nd going into the last lap. Ecclescakes would love that but it's hardly pure in terms of F1 where the best car should normally win.

The KERS thing has completely gone over my head, my Japanese isn't good enough to understand the explanations they have given. What is it? I understand the other one, is it DRS? Pops up a flap in the rear wing to reduce air resistance but can only be used sparingly, right? So what's KERS?

Yes, he's developed the habit of suggesting it. He used to just blurt it right out, so it's nothing new. I guess he got slapped on the wrist by his manager and told to put a lid on that stuff, but you can see how hard it is for him

Ignoring Vettel's dominance, that is a fantastic grid for tomorrow. Fast drivers further back than they should be, slower drivers up surprisingly high and eveyones favourite Kobybashi right in the middle.
Even if Button takes Vettel at the start I can't see him holding him off for long and even with the tyre advantage, I can't see Lewis jumping Seb either. Nah, the excitement tomorrow (and the whole season?) is for second place down.
