What about A1GP?

It's Good like with most SKYSport coverage. I don't get why people are knocking the actual coverage of sort on SKY sports (when in most cases it's 2nd to none) It's more the rip off prices and what they charge the Pubs and Clubs, that SKYSports should be bashed for.

Yet Football and Darts grew while under SKYsports in fact both sports have never been richer or more popular

That was mainy because they weren't really on terrestrial TV much at the time. Until Sky, at most there'd only be one live footy match on telly a week (and darts on only once a year!)

But with F1, EVERY race is already being shown live, Sky can't show more than that.

Maybe Sky's F1 coverage will be decent. But the current BBC coverage is the best I've known, so they've got a hard target to beat.

SKY have had F1 before, like 9 years ago and they went to down showing all the warm up laps, practice sessions and every lap and with being able to view on-board shots. When it comes to actual coverage of the race or the Sport , It's hard to fault SKY.

I do agree BBC coverage has been brilliant and the paring of EJ and DC together, a master stroke

Well if we all paid a Licence fee to SKY, I'm sure SKY sub prices would come down.

And it's the same for the BBC, all they do is transmit the coverage they have no control over the camera's or the race TV director(even for the Home GP). The point about Adverts is pointless , SKY is never going to show adverts during the Live Quail or race

Sky isn't an option for some of us, my landlord won't let me put a dish up for example.

Yes they show Live Darts, Live Boxing, Live Champs League and live BTCC (which is far better watch than F1 these days ) . The way it's going more LIVE sport than the BBC

Well they don't for any MotorSport they show same Football, Ruby, Boxing, Darts ECT. If SKY did that during the actual race/match it would be the end of the Sub

Do they?? I had no idea. I never look at listings or anything. I would love to get back into watching BTCC, much better than F1.

There is no reason to show adverts on an already paid-for service, ever. Other than greed.
