        Good luck Ralf. LOL

Where did you sit in the end?

We were at the B3 stand, on the inside of 130R just before the chicane - would have been far better if not for the huge bridgestone banner blocking the view of the chicane.. grrr... but we were able to see both sides of the track, so we could see the cars coming down to the degner curves as well.

So you saw FA dismiss Schumi then.

Bah, it was painful watching Schumacher get eaten up like that... took the shine of the experience a little but you can't have everything! I also have to mention, that Suzuka rollercoaster is one of the best I've ever been on!

Well, from all accounts, it was one of the best races of the last decade, so nice one. Just be thankful you didn't witness the bore fest that was Shanghai. Or did you?

No, I missed Shanghai - I didn't realise there was only 1 week between them, we were still in Osaka at that point (in fact, it was the day after that 'incident' I described in the other thread)

The FIA are at it again. Is it just me or are they clueless in regards to the future of F1. They seem to change the regs every year.

They need to find something that at least semi-works and stick with it for a while don't they. This season however there have been obvious problems with close following and the ability to overtake and almost everyone moaning about single lap qualifying so something definitely needed doing.

I think the qualy should be changed but I'm not sure that this strange, confusing format is the correct one for fans. The last 20 min bit should be good to watch as all the remaining cars should pretty much be on track together.

Also, does that article mean that tyre changing will be back in next season?

                        Comment

Yes, tyre changes are to return. Qualy is ****ed up anyway. They should go back to 12 laps per driver, and if the little teams moan about TV exposure then just force them all to do a minimum of one flying lap every 15 mins, etc. They seem to think that F1 is broken but I am not sure that it is. If anything investment in the sport has increased in recent years with all of the big cars comps. buying in.

Silverstone has been moved. The last time that happened it was a wash out. I assume it is to do with the World Cup.
