      Unbelievable.

Pedrosa just took out teammate and championship leader Hayden, oh to be a fly on the wall in the pits.

Stonking Moto GP race!! 0.002 in it at the end. Awesome stuff.

Unbelievable race, awesome! I really thought Kenny Roberts Jr was gonna hold on for the win but Elias and Rossi disagreed. Moto GP is something else, off the wall.

I can't see how Hayden and Pedrosa can be effective team-mates next season after todays events? The title isn't theoretically lost for Hayden but if I was Rossi the champagne would definitely be ready for Valencia.

Just watched the race, Pedrosa, top move mate

Elias at first bend of last lap was amazing, came from so so far behind.

8 point lead to Rossi now, he cannot fail

I've got to say that was probably THE best bike race I've ever watched.

Elias was riding like a true hero, deserved the win as well after all those moves. Pulled very similar moves a few times and each one was an amazing performance.

Pedrosa, what can I say? Wouldn't be surprised to see him with a black eye!!

They weren't best of buddies before the race either, oops, Pedrosa has broken the number one rule in racing in taking out your team-mate , guess he is under contract to Honda next season (as Hayden is).

Final race should be a cracker, Hayden has thrown away the best ever opportunity to win the championship - mainly due to Rossi's very poor start to the season it must be said.

McRae didn't do bad, but not as well as I had hoped (he was running seventh before having to retire on the last day).

To be fair, I don't think Hayden has thrown it away. Rossi has ridden amazingly the latter half of the season and Hayden was on target to limit the damage yesterday until Pedrosa got involved (I think he showed his young age there).

The final race would have been amazing had Hayden finished in 3rd/4th, now it's a mirror of the F1 really, anything can still happen though.

Next year will be a tough year for that Honda team I think.

Rossi has ridden well yes, but I'm sure I'm 99% right in saying Pedrosa has scored more points than Hayden (on the same bike) in say the last 8 races.

Hayden could have taken the championship by the balls months ago, but didn't.

Al, can you imagine how happy I'd be seeing Rossi in a certain red car in a couple of years ? yes I'm sure you can

                    Comment

True, I've not seen the majority of the races unfortunately. I guess he should have wrapped it up weeks ago and then yesterdays 'incident' wouldn't have mattered.

I can imagine what you'd be like yes, you're the biggest Ferrari and Rossi fanboy I know, if that does happen you will be unstoppable (or is that unbearable?)!

Renault are changing sponsors next year from Mild Seven to finance company ING.

Their corporate colours (in the UK at least) seem to be orange and white:

Wonder what the Renault's will look like next year?

Pedrosa taking out Hayden...... I couldn't believe my eyes, what was he trying to prove in the 2nd to last race ?! if I was the Honda chief would kick him out without a doubt, when you know the championship is going to be so close you don't attack your teammate like that, that was a really stupid move.
It was (again) a stunning race though ! Last couple of years the MotoGP is joy to watch.... dare I say it, I like it even more than F1 to watch ? ....

renaults will look ugly next year with orange and white all over, keep to the blue and yellow.

Yes, but the Blue is for Mild Seven who are pulling out so obviously we are going to see a change. Its similar to when Marlboro ditched Macca 10 years ago.

Great vid over at Google videos.

50 years of onboard F1. Those deathtraps on wheels from the '50 and '60s scare the **** out of me. Footage from the 'Ring is just WTF.One mistake and you're into a tree.

The six wheeled Tyrell that looked as though it was made from coke cans!
Amazing footage from Longbeach in '78. Senna at Suzuka '89. Mika on Schumi at Spa 2000. Truly stunning stuff.
