Think Ralf is out of contract at the end of this year.

Must admit, as things stand, can't see McLaren not winning both the drivers and constructors, sure Massa will give them a good run for their money though.

Just hope McLaren don't start to give Alonso any priority in the team.

Just think if Kimi had stayed at McLaren, MS would still be in the Ferrari. Now that would have made this a fantastic season...

    Ferrari vs McLaren
    Schumacher vs Alonso
    Kimi vs Massa

I think this season proves the 'Kimi the car breaker' tag. If he was still in a McL it'd be broken too.

I agree with you David, can't see any other outcome at the mo than a McL double, imagine Nando will get the nod and be the top dog from now though. Lewis needs Nando to not finish a race and to score well himself so he can get a headstart.

I think lewis may have scored a bit of an own goal at the weekend. He threw a bit of a tantrum at being beaten by Alonso and stirred the British media into a frenzy with his poor choice of words after the race.
He also clearly ignored big Ron's instruction to preserve the car and pushed on for the win even though Alonso had slowed the pace down as instructed.
I can't imagine Lewis being flavour of the week at Mclaren.

I have seen a new side of Hamilton this week which I do not like. His temprement could cost him in the long run.

He is the only top runner yet to win a race and has not made a decisive move on anyone (apart from at the start). The rabid British media is claiming that he was robbed yet LH's fastest lap of the race, 1:15.372 was made on lap 28 when he was running light. FA put in a 1:15.472 on the same lap even though he had has just pitted so, IMO, it is clear that FA had the measure of him that day.

Mclaren have been criticised for playing the numbers game, but FA rightly pointed out that winning in Monaco is more about keeping it on the island, than overtaking heroics. In that regard, the best driver won as FA was a smooth as can be on sunday where as LH seemed on the edge at times and even pushed it a bit too far as witnessed by his armco moments.

Yeah, but it's great! LH is forcing FA to show how good he is. With a proper #2 driver, that made the usual mistakes, he could have sat back and blamed the car the first chance he had. Now he has to prove he's #1, and he is doing so!

LH, FA and McLaren are doing great things for F1 in our house, (gf is passionate about F1 too, yay!). FA showing how it's done, LH making F1 cars look like karts. Fantastic stuff!

Now, who to support at Silverstone this year... FA like last year, English LH? Or DC, who after the years of whining has turned into the coolest man on earth... perhaps

I reckon Silverstone will be packed this year. This year at Mclaren is a bit like '88. FA is Prost and LH is Senna. The proven champ vs the hot shot.

Next two races should be interesting as they are circuits that Alonso has struggled on in recent years, could maybe give Lewis a chance to regain his advantage. I would expect Ferrari to be right back on the pace for these races too.

Suppose we should also congratulate Dario Franchitti for his Indy 500 win. One of the many promising British drivers who was forced to forge a career stateside after struggling to get a F1 drive. Good to see him finally win the Indy.

FA won the Canadian GP last year and hit the wall whilst in the lead in '05. Hardly struggling but his record at Indy is not the best.

Yeah, with Montreal I was referring more to the crash in 05, forgot that he won it last year.

so, Rossi's back where he belongs, this is good for the championship, everybody is getting a little closer to Stoner.
looked like Honda made some improvements because Pedrosa was going really fast as well,

Enjoyed the MotoGP yesterday, good to see Rossi schooling everyone again, didn't seem his day at the start but when the inevitable happened you knew he would win. Not like he wasn't trying, the shots of him and Pedrosa coming over the brow of the hill with the bikes shaking was immense.

Yes a lesson in Motorcycling by Rossi, really pleased with the podium for Barros, on a customer bike as well. Capirossi, slipped down the pack really quickly after going wide on about lap eight, guess he knackered his tyres early on.

So why is Hayden so slow compared to Pedrosa ???
