If they did then that was Alonso's fault for being so arrogant. Even so, I don't believe Alonso was mechanically disadvantaged in any way, only emotionally. McLaren have always let their two drivers race in equal machinery even if Ron himself becomes emotionally attached to one of the drivers.

If this is true...
...then I hope McLaren don't win this appeal. Looks like it might have been a driver error on Hamilton's part. To his credit, he's said he wouldn't want to win the championship via this appeal anyway.

That story has been picking up pace all day on the internet, wonder if there is any truth in it as all sources quote and alleged report somewhere else. I doubt you could slip on the wheel but I guess it's possible. Do they record all the on board footage or only when the director is showing it? that'd clear it up.
They should be appealing anyway on behalf of all the cars that were behind the three in question but I also think it's a pointless exercise.
How do you cool a fuel tank anyway, have they fitted fridges inside the cars or is the issue that the fuel was too cool before it went into the cars? In which case it'd would've warmed up really quickly once it was in the car right, surely it gets to like 100+ inside the engine covers?
