Ah, of course. Think it was David Coulthard who was saying that it's not going to make as big a difference as most people seem to think it will.

We will see more spins coming out of low speed corners. Wet races should be fun as well.

Will make the starts of races much more open to driver error also

              Alonso to Honda?

Well a seat fitting is pretty conclusive stuff normally, but how accurate that story is, we don't know.

Honda would happily have him for one year I guess which would leave Rubens racing around in a back of the grid car - I suspect he wants the most F1 drives record.

Kinda feel sorry for Davidson though, he's a better prospect than both Sato and Rubens, yet looks like he may get dumped out of F1.

Back to Mclaren and the growing rumour is that De la Rosa is heading for the second Mclaren seat - There is an influential Spanish sponsor at Mclaren that are looking to bail out if De la Rosa isn't given the drive.

Do you really think MCL will get de la rosa in the 2nd seat

                  What about that paffet guy?

SS004, where are you getting that rumour from, I've not seen it and wouldn't mind reading it. I can't see De La Rosa in the McL seat, just doesn't seem to fit somehow! Paffett though, no chance, never going to be two brits with the amount of outside sponsorship/investment that team has.

yep, this should make things much more interesting,

and they tested on slick tyres, maybe 2009 we'll see the return of the slick tyres...

now put also steel brakediscs on these cars and you should get some more interesting races again

Do it Alonso, go to honda.

it'll sort this mess out and we don't have to say buy to either ralf or fisi.

Kovi to MCL, Fisi and the Piquet bloke... And ralf at force india.

problem solve. Better send bernie a text

A sight to behold. A modern Formula One car on slick tyres.

                            As it should be.

Roll on 2009, that's looking pretty likely to be the return to slicks year now

Now that BS is the single supplier it makes no difference so it would be great to see them back. I noticed that they were instantly faster as well. 6 tenths up on the grooved Mclaren

That may be the thing that stops it happening though as they are always trying to kerb the speed increases in F1 so instantly cutting half a second a lap may not be allowed.
