Yep, I'm having problems with the belly too, it has reduced but not hugely. Around the sides haven't had much change. I'm only doing crunches at the moment.

Awesome, awesome, awesome.
When I started with the PT she got me doing interval training. I could only manage 5 intervals without feeling like I was about to keel over and die. Made it to 11 intervals today.
That whole positive feedback cycle thing has kicked in for me now.
Plus the various exercises she's got me doing to strengthen the muscles around my dodgy knee are really paying off - it's soooo much better.
Happy days!

I've started working out over the last couple of weeks and while I'm definitly fitter from the jogging etc I'm finding it really difficult to gain muscle. I haven't really changed my diet but from next week I plan on supplementing it with more high protein foods like chicken and cheeses. A friend also recommeded creatine now I've heard that it can have some really horrid side effects most of which I'm sure are bull**** but you can never be to careful I guess. Any advice ?

You will have to do a lot if that is all you are going to do though but any amount is better than none!

Just keep going for a few more weeks and be sure to measure everything now so you can really see the difference, otherwise you are just left with how much weight you are pushing as your reference. I'm presuming you are working all the muscles you want to grow around 3 times a week pretty hard. Jogging could slow down the muscle growth, but that's not a good reason to stop jogging because your heart is the most important muscle!

Thanks ItsThere. I?ve started doing one set of 60 twice a day; in the morning I?ll do wide stance, and in the evening knuckle push ups with my arms tucked in. I don?t really feel the burn on my chest, but my upper abs? good grief, they feel like they?re going to explode.

Wider stance with your arms should increase the pull on your chest.
