I'd been waking up in the night recently every few hours but since I started cycling to/from work again(40 mins each way) I've been able to sleep the whole night through without one disturbance.

It means I can sleep less hours(~6) whereas before I'd need more than eight hours a night otherwise I'd get cranky. The cycling knackers me and exspends all that energy that gets stored up while I'm sitting in the staff room doing bugger-all.

I use Royal Jelly for its calming effects to help me sleep. If anyone wants to try some, let me know. The ones I sell taste delicious

I've had a similar issue in the past and found the dr to not be much help (they simply wanted to prescribe sleeping tablets which is hardly a long-term solution). Do you think you could be de-hydrated? Do you drink alcohol or caffeine in the evenings? if so might be worth cutting down on them as you may be fine when you go to sleep but then your body may be dehydrating after a couple of hours waking you up.
