I'd been waking up in the night recently every few hours but since I started cycling to/from work again(40 mins each way) I've been able to sleep the whole night through without one disturbance.
It means I can sleep less hours(~6) whereas before I'd need more than eight hours a night otherwise I'd get cranky. The cycling knackers me and exspends all that energy that gets stored up while I'm sitting in the staff room doing bugger-all.

I'll go to bed at 11pm of so and drift off quite easily and then at about 2am I'll be wide awake and unable to doze of again until about 30 minutes before I need to get up.
Me thinks a trip to the doctors might be in order.
