Wasn't there a test at Headingly a few years back where both teams batted twice on the same day? i think it was against the Windies.

I was wrong, it was when England won in two days, they bowled the Windies out for 61 in their second innings.

Prior seems to be taking the bowlers on a bit. Interesting tactic. Too often in Test Cricket, a few batsmen get out and their successors are **** scared of the ball, playing around it timidly. The scorebaord stalls and the pressure builds. They get themselves out psychologically.

Uh-oh. My predictions after being out for 102, discussed with the missus:

The pitch would be heralded as 'swinging' and good for Anderson.
The missus reckoned Australia would hit 8 off the first two balls, and a tenth of our total off the first over.
I then said the Aussies would be 100-1 and there'd be no excuses to hide behind. Bad bowling and bad batting.
