What's it like having three cats in the house? Is it a bit mental, do they all like eachother, do they fight a lot etc? I can't wait to get a kitty but with the place I'm at now it would be unfair to have one as it's too small. 3 months until I can get one woo!

        three cats is great fun...

Kuma and Neko don't get along too well but they ain't that bad with each other.

One of them is always doing something amusing

Although i did assume with three at least I could get attention from one of them when i wanted it, but i was mistaken. Bloody cats and their aloofness <3 .
I totally recommend more than one cat, watching them play fight is sooooo cute.

Haha, I always thought it would great to call a cat Dave or something. I can just imagine this proud looking, working-class cat called Dave. Amuses me.

My next door neighbours cat is called John!! It's a girl though, go figure.

I decided the names of our two months before we got them also! I was dead set, no matter what we got they were going to be called Clarence and Alabama, and they are

We have 2 cats. They're called Geoff & Lily!!

Both are tuxes (tuxedo cats i.e. black & white). I'll try & get a piccy of both. For some reason people dont tend to like Tuxes or Black Cats, whereas I LOVE Black Cats!!
They do fight quite often. My lady had Geoff from a Pet Shop & we think he must have been taken away from his mum too early & that he hadnt had much handling b4, so is very territorial. He only likes certain people. If he doesnt like you he'll rip u to pieces!!
Lily is the opposite & is smaller, but when we 1st had Lily she used to knock the **** out of Geoff & pin him to the floor because we got her from a Cattery so she had mingled with other cats & Geoff didnt have a clue how to fight!
Goeff seems to fight her more now & she seems to back off, but I reckon she could still knock him for six!
However when I come down in the morning theyre almost always cwtched up together on the sofa. Oh bless!!!

I think that it is best to have at least 2 cats as they're company for each other & is great entertainment for you too!!

This isn't my cat, but one I found whilst out and about:

Maybe I'll post some pics of my two black 'uns later. In the mean time, you can gaze in envy at the length of this cat's hair!

Tommy your cats are so cute! I really like that first pic of them both asleep. I'd post some recent pictures of my cat up but she pretty much looks the same, still up to her usual hunting tricks too.

Keep the pictures coming though as looking at cute moggies cheers up my work day!

We have three cats as well, Smudge who's been here since 1998 and Star and Shadow (brother and sister) who we've had since 2003. Generally they just ignore each other but they have the occasional moment where Smudge will chase them around the garden for a few seconds, or one of them will clock the other in the face when they pass on the stairs

Only ever had a couple of full blown fights and both times it was Star and Shadow fighting, even though they've been together since birth!

No real problems at all having three cats in the house (and with us introducing two new ones after Smudge had been here alone for five years that's quite surprising). They'll often go to sleep within a couple of feet of each other so they can't hate each other that much The only real problem we have is that Star and Shadow do still hang out together and work together when it comes to catching mice / rats and leaving them in the hall
