It would be good if the news of Adrian’s passing and people’s remembrance of him could be moved to its own thread. Many members may miss this due to it being in this thread, and I’m sure many others would like to both know we’ve lost him as well as say something about the great guy he was.

Aye just found out about this over on Facebook from big Sean
Adrian was from the absolute glory days here, when importing wasnt easy and costly and the forums were just alight
First time I met him was at my first ntsc-uk meeting in Sarfhampton at Seany's house, met him and another few guys from here but was a brilliant night of gaming and drinking, Adrian handed my arse me me on every single fighting game we played
Kept in touch and went to his house a few times when I still served, when I was based in London
always spoken here and there but it has been a while this time
Fair seas and following winds my old friend, absolute shame and condolences go out to all his family and loved ones

Only met Adrian once, at the same meetup randombs mentioned but he was a top bloke. I remember him absolutely destroying me on a very poorly emulated version of SF2 (they'd even stretched the aspect ratio to 16:9). Very sad to hear this news. A terrible loss to his family and friends and to us here.

Absolutely horrific news. I was just thinking the other day I’d not seen him online for a while, but had no idea how bad his heath had got.
It was always nice to see his hauls, like important, he was a member of the small enclave of gamers that still buy new games from Japan. Someone still continuing in the spirit of the glory days of gaming.
It’s going to be so strange not seeing him around.
Rest in peace dude.

When he came to see me in Scotland he had his fiancée with him, but I can’t remember what their wedding date was. Does anyone know if they managed to get their big day?
I can’t think about much else apart from this today, as much as I knew him we weren’t close, but it just shows how much of an impression he left on everyone he met.
Just such a chill guy to be around. I love reading the posts tonight remembering him. I’ll never forget when I got my first cab though and I thought I was doing pretty decent with my Progear scores, yet the big guy came round to mine, sat down for one credit and annihilated my high score. Just a natural game player.

Morning. You probably don’t know me but I’m Damien (real name Chris), Fuse’s IRL friend and previously a part time NTSC forum poster. No easy way of saying this. Fuse’s wife (they got married in hospital on the 6th Feb) phoned me yesterday afternoon to break that he hadn’t managed to pull through being taken off life support after being put into an induced coma for a week after heart surgery. Very sorry to be breaking this but I know he still posted here and traded with you guys so thought I’d log in to see if you were in the loop.
