Am DJ-ing in my local so will get freebies and can mix n match the music and play what I want within reason, so that will be lots of chilled out summer grooves, some Stevie, Marvin, Isleys.

I read that wrong at first and thought you playing the records of silver haired comic Steve Martin.

Jacket potatoes this evening. But not your regular jacket potatoes, oh no!

Cook 'em for a couple of hours, cut 'em in half, scoop out the inside and mash in a bowl with lots of butter, cheese and bacon, place back in the half skins. Sprinkle a tiny bit of grated cheese on the tops and whack back in the oven for about 20 minutes. Serve with whatever you fancy. Tonight it shall be freshly prepared chicken goujons with a nice sauce of some description (BBQ or a Nandos type job).

Don't know- we're going to stop off at the first eaterie that takes our fancy. A magical mystery tour of tea! I'll post an update later.

Ended up having fried clam strips (what is it with me and fried seafood recently?) and chips. They were top, but the service was ****e: 20 minutes to get us our drinks and 80 minutes to bring the meal! This being America, that meant that the waitress only got a 76% tip. Got a free dessert though, even though that probably only cost the place about 50p.

Half price Champagne at Saisnburys FTW! Not the best stuff, but i am found of champagne. So I will be adding Champagne to my menu tonight, just cooking the pasta now.

Fried Clam strips sound stupidly nice.

Right. I have just driven to TWO Sainsburys to find Reggae Reggae Sauce. Neither had any, and BOTH say they have now stopped selling it. This is a catastrophe!
