I had home made pizzas last night, sortof, get a couple cheap mozerella ones or whatever, thin as possible, buy some basic mozerella, some olives, salami etc , cut up some onions and shrooms, chillis if you like em, then build a pizza \\o, four of us did it and they always turn out awesome, better than going out for one.

I had a hangover feeling all day despite not drinking last night, so I just thought I'd better start drinking

Steak was out of this world - I highly recommend them. 21 day matured sirloin from M&S - not cheap but oh so good.

Went to Port St. Joe, which is a little town on the Florida panhandle, and had bloody lovely lightly-fried scallops and chips with the place's own recipe remoulade.

This evening's fare is a lot more down to earth: beans on toast. The stupid thing is that to get the beans that we Britishers know and love I have to go to a speciality food shop that has 'foreign' food in, even though Heinz is an American company

I had home made leek and potato soup. I am feeling tight so I refuse to buy anymore food until I empty my fridge. This means I have to invent a dish that uses butternut squash and bok choi.

You could always turn the butternut squash into another soup? Not sure what you'd do with the bok choi though!

edit: blend the bok choi in there too and see what butternut squash and bok choi soup tastes like!
