Ikea meatballs for us tonight with some Tesco 'finest' oven chips - the king of oven chips.

                Spag bol again

Had spag bol last night too. Wife slipped some carrotts in though. Wasn't pleased about that, but it was nice all the same.

Got some random curry (from a jar) tonight. Gotta use up the jars of curry sauce we have, so that we can go back to having home made curries cooked in the slow cooker (soooooooo nice).

                      LOL quim

Carrots are a traditional ingredient in a spag bol ragu, son.

Maaaan. I can't be doing with carrotts in spag bol. Just makes it look like vomit.

To be fair they are meant to be very finely chopped along with celery and onion and cooked down in butter or oil to form the base of the sauce. If she had done it proper it would have been less sick-like. I feel for you man.

                            We grate our carrot

Thanks Sean. She had just chopped them, so they looked like chunky 20 pence piece sized bits of carrot. I'll suggest the finely chopped/grating route next time. I dunno about celery though. I think that needs to be invisible if it's going to make it into any food of mine.
