Had Sausage & Mash with cheats Bisto onion gravy, only FORTIFIED with real onions I fried off separately o/

Tonight is Tuna pasta.

Going to have them pies tonight. The lasagne last night was terrific. Had a big round bit of goats cheese on the top.

We're having cheese and onion omelettes with home-made oven chips tonight [weneedalickinglipsicon] we're not veggie but just thought it would be nice as we haven't had omelettes for a while, although we may well have run out of ketchup - hope not, that wouldn't be good!

BirdsEye Simply Fish fillet and chips, onion rings, etc.

Last night I had the wife's home made toad-in-the-hole (oo-er!), roast spuds, carrots, beans and spinach. All with hot steaming gravy!

Just rustled up a great Tuna Rissoto (I love the way you can just chuck owt in it) for lunch and tonight I'm off to a new curry restaurant that's opened on my high st called Rice, they've got a restaurant elsewhere in Leeds so I guess that bodes well for the new one, cant wait!!

I have to have a can of fizzy pop with fish and chips. My favourite is a nice can of shandy bass.

I'm going to be conducting further experiments with my home-made chilli tonight I think. My favourite so far has been a mix of mostly Birds Eye chillis, a small amount of chilli powder, plenty of garlic, cracked pepper, ginger and lemon juice. I was wary of the ginger but it gives it a lovely warm kick.

I'll give you tip babs - when you are frying your onions and garlic, add a few star anise. Take them out once your onions are soft. A few black cumin seeds are a good addition as well.

Few lads on here have sampled my chili and can attest to its quality.
