Anyone know how to remove the ultra-annoying new "suggestions" adverts from facebook. I'm using Firefox, but can't find a suitably up-to-date script.

Facebook is the spawn of the devil.

A friend of mine was sacked after making a post on a Facebook group, a comment no worse than many of the comments in Off Topic here.

Yeah, you hear stories like this all the time, which is partly why I'm not on Facebook. That and I have enough common sense not to make my personal details searchable over the internet, so no employer or future employer will ever get into my business by googling me or checking Facebook.

What's most galling is that your boss would never ask you detailed questions about your private life or follow you around after work to see where and how you socialise so they have a bit of a cheek sneakily doing so online. That said, if people choose to put all their stuff out there...

The police even have strict rules about the usage of Facebook by their officers. So not worth the potential hassle.

I was a little shocked to see "66 pictures of you" show up, a whole bunch of pictures with me in them had been tagged. I was kinda shocked in a "how did those get there?" way.
