Use a Gum shield in bed to stop knashing your teeth. Worked for me, I lost 3 teeth due to a lot of knashing as a yoof

for ulcers there is this amazing stuff i think its for sale at boots

its like a cotton bud thing with some chemicals hurts when put onto the ulcer but then the pain just goes

Another vote for this stuff. For the life of me, I can't remember what it's called but it really does work.

Go into Boots and describe it and they'll know what you're on about.

I get mouth ulsers when I stay up for around 36-48 hours, it runs me down. Pain in the bum. I also like Charles, gargle salt water...don't swallow it though, regardless of how salt tastes on food, I can assure you taking it with liquid tastes like...well..is ****ing awful and the worse thing is..you will remember that awfulness forever!

But anyway, 9/10 times, you swallow heavily salted water, you're going to projectile vomit, best to spit it out. 1/10 times you don't puke it back up and you're in trouble (depending on how much salt you used)

My nan recommended vinegar for mouth ulcers. Think she was of the thinking 'the more pain, the more effective it is'.

Worst night's sleep for quite some time. The ulcers now sit atop a massive mountain range of red blotches, some of which are hanging over my teeth at the back. It makes breathing uncomfortable, talking unpleasant, and swallowing food and water very painful. Basically any time i swallowed I woke up with shooting pains around my mouth. There's visible swelling from the outside, and the inside its a mess, I can barely see my back tooth past the red lumps.

Emergency dental appointment - stat!

Could indicate an infection, dentist might prescribe you with some anti-biotics and stronger painkillers. Could find you've actually got an absess around the tooth.
