That is a fair number of beers there Prin.
The wine glass was the best to show off the colour, I was drinking from the bottle.

      You are forgiven :-)

      It does look glorious.

I was tempted to have a beer tonight, but the first day back at work has knacked me up, and I'm not wasting a newbie on this dazed and bust up wreck.

The Black IPA and Smoked Porter were my highlights of that afternoon.
It was tremendous - only disappointment was you not buying that Weng Weng DVD!

          Tyne Bank Brewery, Heavenly Porter - 5.4% - 9.5

Gorgeous. Downed a pint of this far too quickly, but it really was superb.

I wish I had that kind of money to throw around :-(

              New bottle -

              Moylan's Hopsickle Imperial Ale, 9.2% - 8.5

A triple-hopped bad boy that was very nice, but didn't particularly rise above some of the other American high IBU beers.

Not sure what qualifies in here as I usually post in the other booze thread, but I've really been enjoying Innis & Gunn beers lately, so I have a few of each of the three pictured for tonight. Pairing them with The Glenrothes which I was given as a leaving gift from work the other week.

That's a nice selection. I like the Innis and Gunn varieties. I picked up a new one the other week - White Oak Wheat Beer. Might have it later on, in solidarity.

Their 'Original' is what got me in to them, absolutely lovely. (And is what I'm having first) My mate has left some other stuff here from the Black Wolf brewery, might give them a bash tomorrow.

Black Wolf? New one to me. Full reports are required, sir.

This is what he's left Prin, few bottles of IPA. Says some of their other stuff is really good, which I'm not sure if I should take as "but this one's ****e".

Will report back tomorrow. Or maybe tonight, you never know...........

Nope - haven't had that. Looks like my type of ****e :-)

We're absolutely smashing through the Innis & Gunn's Prin, so the BW stuff may be on the menu soon, the rum finish is also a bit on the gorgeous side. I'm photo bombing the **** out of this thread tonight -

Ah yes the rum finish one is a delight. I was going to buy a special they put out called 50 Shades of Green, but they limited to 200 bottles and, being a lazy arse, I forgot to order it.

I've got a Canadian Innis and Gunn one knocking around out back, too.

Have you ever tried the Ola Dubh ones by Harviestoun? They're tasty. Bloody pricey, but tasty.

I havent Prin, but these days I most likely will. Have to say I've been loving my recent step away from lager, though I find all this beer thing massively hit and miss, tried some awful stuff, but when you find something good it's a wee delight. And I've replaced the rum finish photo with a better one.
