I'm thinking the same for my next phone. Maybe. Note 2 owner here, do keep glancing at the 6.3" Mega though.

FSW yes the Mega is a bit lowered spec, but for what I use a phone for it's not important. And the Mega isn't too expensive sim-free already. Think only 3 and Vodafone have it on contract.
The Mega has much smaller bezels all round compared to the Sony Ultra, they're more tablet sized bezels on it, making it seem much larger.
As a note (no pun intended), my 11 year old son can hold my Note in one hand fine, and he's average size, I could never go back to anything with less than a five inch screen ever again.Comment

I'm with you on screen size and yeah, my phone only needs to be "fast enough". I couldn't give up a stylus now either though. A combination of S Pen Helper and an app called "Write" lets me pull pen out, launch Write, take note, put pen back and screen is auto closed. Ace!Comment

I'm a sucker for apple stuff and I am not 100% convinced by the 5S but I will get the Gold one. The main thing I needed was a finger scanner as I had my iphone 5 nicked not too long ago and this Touch ID should deter the theiving basts...
Also, iphone 5 or 5C, which is suppose to be better??Comment
